So the bone of contention here is whether they are INSPIRED or UNINSPIRED!

Well let's meditate on Paul's letters to Timothy once again.

All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, so that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work! 2Timothy 3:16-17

The inspired scriptures are for:
©TEACHING
©REPROVING
©SETTING THINGS STRAIGHT
©DISCIPLINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS. Verse 16

So that the man of God may be:
FULLY COMPETENT and COMPLETELY EQUIPPED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK! Verse 17

If a writer is inspired it doesn't mean that every time he talks or write something it's all about inspiration. The ones that are inspired will surely correlate with other inspired writings, that's why the other inspired writers do paraphrase or quote them.

For instance Muhammad (from Saudi Arabia) claimed that he was also inspired, he began quoting and paraphrasing inspired writings in the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures but there's no link between him and the other writers.
He's not from the promised nation of Israel, he never lived at the same time with any prophet, his writings contradicts most of the inspired writings and he even condemned most of the earlier writings outrightly and his own writings came much later after the compilation of the 66 books.

So it's only the INSPIRED messages that were compiled for our use, others discarded has but also inspired has been either quoted or paraphrased in order that any other writings must be considered UNINSPIRED so that there won't be contradictions! smiley
So your point is that 400 years after Christ the Catholic Church filtered out the uninspired word, paraphrased so inspired words and gave us the bible right?
And you insist they are your antichrist

A few things here, you claim the Catholic Church is of the devil yet Jesu's used the Pope to compile the bible.
This is why we study the entire Bible with meditation not just read one side and forget the other.
God used the nation of Israel but 70% of the nation are always against pure worship. Isaiah 1:4
How come we believe in the Hebrew scriptures written by people from the same race?
Well it's because there were few faithful ones living and worshiping whole souled in the midst of that faithless nation! Luke 11:29
So when pure worship went into slavery just as the Jews were taken to Babylon God didn't forget the faithful ones in their midst! smiley
tctrills:
You also claimed these books are uninspired yet they were some how paraphrased into the bible. Hmmmmm
Now you're misquoting me! grin
I said "any verse not found in the 66 books IS NOT INSPIRED"
So the verses found in the scriptures could be found in any other book like the Quran but that doesn't mean the entire Qur'an is inspired of God! smiley

The bible is very complete, 66 books. I never said it was not complete. Each book in the bible is a complete book. Romans is complete, Luke is complete, Job is complete.
I only said the bible is not the only inspired record and even the bible testifies to other records.
If this is how you put your words from the onset i won't object!
Know today that any documents not included either by quote or paraphrased in the Bible IS NOT INSPIRED OF GOD so we don't need it! smiley

The Catholic Church belong to Satan but that doesn't mean God's faithful servants within that religion are doomed since there wasn't any other option so there are faithful people worshiping with that religion for centuries until Archangel Michael (Jesus Christ) said in 1914:

Get out of her, my people, if you do not want to share with her in her sins, and if you do not want to receive part of her plagues" Revelations 18:4

So today anyone who wants to worship the true God in the restored spiritual temple must come and worship with Jehovah's Witnesses, whoever remains in that religion or Jewish religion thinking God will not destroy them simply because faithful ones among them were assigned to work for God in the past.

He must save his image, reputation and face even USING the names of other Christian denominations SUCH as the Catholics. Imagine Catholic aka the antichrist gave Christians the BIBLE grin grin

They paraphrased the INSPIRED part of the UNINSPIRED books into INSPIRED books.

He continues to tie himself up with words he cannot handle grin

To save face you will LIE ontop of JESUS head paapaa. Show us 1914 in REVELATION 18:4? grin grin grin

So today anyone who wants to worship the true God in the restored spiritual temple must come and worship with Jehovah's Witnesses
John 4:24 grin Jesus didn't put anything called JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES Organization or any sort of things RELATED to that. No dey read your regimented thinking into the Bible.

Oga, Imitate Moses & Jesus, join JEHOVAH'S people.
But Jesus is a character created by the Roman empire.

Give me 1 good reason why he is Important to anything ?

You don't give orders here my friend, this is a public forum and thousands are following so let them see how stupid you're when talking about PEACE (one of God's attributes) to be found actively working in the midst of Idolaters!
Jesus said "by their fruits you will know them" {Matthew 7:16} he adds "a good tree will not produce routine fruit neither will a bad tree produce fine fruit" Matthew 7:17-18
Definitely you know nothing about God or His attributes, you're just a deluded miscreant running all over this forum and spewing gibberish! smiley
Why are you finding it hard to pick one?

I choose to be by myself and keep the laws and commandments of the true creator of heaven and earth. Which do you choose? You want to be in a peaceful group that follows an idol(jesus) OR be by yourself and keep the laws and commandments of the true creator of the universe..One of which is prohibition of referencing the image or likeness of anything in heaven , on earth or anything under the water below the earth. ..

First I never said the bible is not complete and I don't know where you got that from. The Bible is a collection of 66 complete books. But it does not contain all God has ever spoken to man. It does not contain all the word of God.
Now you claim so documents are not ispired, buthe so far you have basically stating a personal opinion. It's not a scriptural opinion.

I don't get your Hebrew analogy. Are you saying because God used the Hebrew, he couldn't produce more than 66 books?

And your analogy with the quran is also funny because the bible prophets never quoted from the quran. Imagine what would have happened if bible prophets openly quoted from the quran. So you points do not stand.

These your words really implicate you. You state that not all the words from inspired men are inspired from God and I agree. Peter was an inspired man of God yet Christ once called him a Devil. He and Paul also had their issues.
But then in chosen what was inspired and what was not, it was up to the Catholic Church and the final Authority of the Pope. God gives his holy assignments to his prophets and apostles not to the antichrist.
It is not in the nature of God to give holy things to the dogs. So it's either you are wrong about the Catholic Church being the antichrist or you are wrong about the 66 books being the only inspired books. Choose one.
Re: Jw.org: 100 Years Of Failed Prophecies. by tctrills: 1:15pm On Dec 19, 2021
Janosky:
The Bible in it's entirety is inspired of God.
The particular aspects referenced of other books reference in the Bible are true & genuine, like the examples you gave.

However, others writings in conflict with the Bible, for instance, "the Acts of Paul and Thecla" have portions that are in direct conflict with the Bible.
God's spirit inspired 66 books, not others conflicting with the Bible irrespective of the names they bear.
These issues raise the red flag about their authenticity.
Brotherman you don't seen so keen on attempting my questions. I was really enjoying our conversation.

The Bible is the only inspired word of our own God but if you don't agree with that it's OK you may soothe yourself!

This thread is a set-up by Apostates crying all day and night over their loss so it's like you're not aware of their pain.
You are the only one here that doesn't know why they're all wailing up and down.
You don't have any business with JWs so you can't understand the agony they're passing through! grin
They know that there is no other group where they can get nice and kind people like JWs so they want to keep their relationship with JWs while they don't want to keep the rules binding us together as one family.
You yourself said there's nothing special about JWs so ask your friends why they're so much disturbed about this people! smiley

Grouping is good, if it involves worshipping the true creator of heaven and earth. Not when it is about an idol (jesus)...
Do you understand me now?

I found this discussion very interesting for some reasons.
1st I noticed that our JW brother is not comfortable with you. It's not my business to know what beef you guys have. But I hope it gets resolved someday.

Also our guy declared the Catholic Church as the antichrist yet God worked together with the antichrist to give us the bible as we have it today. Even a kid wouldn't believe that.

Finally, it was interesting to see 2 JW brothers with different opinions. I actually liked it. I don't like organization's where people are told what to think. It was interesting to note they they can think independently. Even though when Janosky noticed, he got uncomfortable and stopped replying me.

Well that's because you don't know our God!
He is able to help His servants under any condition Satan create to make things difficult for them. Satan created the Catholic Church to replace true Christianity after killing all the pioneers of Christianity. But that doesn't mean God has forgotten faithful people who woke up to find themselves in that false religions and they don't know any other. Every effort of Satan to adulterate God's word was futile and Satan's agents only ended up dividing the 66 books into 1189 chapters and 31200 verses.
JEHOVAH has done that several times in the past:
Egypt was the first world power filled with gods of different kinds yet that was the nation Jehovah used to preserve Jacob and his family during a harsh famine.
Persia was a pagan nation filled with idols of all kinds yet that was the nation Jehovah used to free His people from Babylon.
So when Jesus said Satan will oversow weeds in Jesus' field and he (Jesus) will allow both of them to grow together {Matthew 13:24-30} we don't expect God's work to stop simply because Satan enslaved pure worshipers and kept them under the AntiChrist (Catholic Church) we know God's work will be in progress no matter Satan's scheme! smiley

I told you "you misunderstood my brother" no JW will agree with you that there are other INSPIRED writings not compiled with the Bible. But it's OK if misconstruing what he said makes you feel happy and satisfied! smiley
