When it happened to mine almost 6 months ago, I let it be for a while. after few hours, I plugged it back to charge and up till today, I am still using it.

on another note, if you've witnessed it being hyper hot before it goes off, remove the SD if any and the sims. let it cool off very well.

That's how mine went off too till today it's just there now using the A7 pro
