Is Christmas season of love all families stay together but my wife left home to her villa to see mum, yeah is a gud stuff going home to see parents, but if well planned. We planned after 25th she can go at least stay with the kids, suddenly she said she wanna go, I let her go, just yesterday wanted to eat, our helper said no soup in freezer, Kai I have to go buy soup outside. Today 24th, I'm gonna go to market to buy soup stuff.

It is very painful. I regret getting married cos in this season any sensible person knows families gonna be together. In fact kids need to enjoy it as we did during our time.

Salad we can't do, not that I don't have the money but I can't do it.

Her mum I told I'm not against ur daughter coming to see you, but she has to put her house in order first before embarking on a long journey.

Makes me regret a lot of stuff marrying outside my state, infact one can remarry, my spouse no go pass Enugu/Anambra.

Her mum sick, going see her I'm not against, my kids all crying all day long mummy mummy, I try pacify them.

Every December Na stress. It is true it is women that are mostly good in taking care of parents though we guys also do our best, but my wife has 3 brothes all married, as it is Xmas none of the wives is around so the daughters fall on.

since money isnt a problem, improvise and make the christmas worthwhile for the kids. abi cant u make your kids happy without your wife?

I hope you gave them food when you came back and not that you came to nairaland to come and seek advise on how to take care of your home. Bros give the children food and eat also and go to bed. Life is short.

I think you should really go to that her mom house to be sure she is there. Try to see her there with your 2eyes. Final advice. 1. Get a good maid. 2. Ensure your kids are well fed by the maid at all times, the kids won’t be dependent on her. 3. Get enough money 4. Enjoy your life to the fullest with enough side chicks outside… finally 5. Then you have not make your kids to get acquainted to you as their father, i have 2kids 2yrs and 4month old, each time my go out she take the 4month old with her and the 2yrs stay with me, she wont even notice her mom is not around she enjoy staying with me than her mum and i do go to work but still i create time to make my kids feel me as their father.

From your gist it seems you don't help her around the house and she needs her downtime away from the Xmas cooking stress and you. Why am I saying this, the way you stress on how you will be going tobmarke to buy soup things, let's try and help around the house also not just dropping cash and expect all to be ok.

She needs rest and downtime and want you to have a taste of taking care of the kids with feeding, cooking and chores.

I think you wife has no fault in this , the reason you concluded her actions was because you are tired of her , so anything she does you count as mistakes

Op if you gallant then there is no issue here. Quickly drive out and buy rice with chicken for the kids or take them out. Try branch market ,buy foods stuff you will cook, ask the kids what they want, fish ,meat ire turkey or chicken, cook it abi you can put cook Ni? YouTube is your friend,just don't add too much salt ooo . you will be happy man.
