Now that you are outside Nigeria,
I'm very sure you sent Up to 500k naira this Christmas. Obviously, you are finishing your house project by now.

If all the above is not done yet, no much difference even wherever you are, stop speaking bad of your country. Just wish Nigeria the best.

The small money in Nigeria is mostly in the wrong hands, you only hear about stuffs that the same people buy to show off on social media. Forget what anybody might tell you, Nigeria is not that rich as a country but has the potentials to be so. Thanks to our population size and oil money, most of our collective wealths are concentrated in the hands of few people who only care about using them to oppress others. As a leader, how do you make the collective wealths of your country to be a thing that most people can partake in, it is simple, it is by creating jobs for the youth to make their education count as a poverty alleviation tool for their families. But reverse is the case in Nigeria, after graduation, most youths have to go back to square one to start making a living for themselves which makes their education almost as effect as the experience they had within the four walls of the university and a colossal draining pipe in their families' meagre resources. The reward system in this country is not properly given and equitable, some people get paid for doing nothing, while most people barely earn a living through their hardwork. Instead of the government intervening to bridge the gap between the rich and poor, they keep making policies that will widen the gap. How do you explain that in a country so famed for being the poverty capital of the world according to IMF and world bank, there are abandoned real estates everywhere built to cater for the rich class which nobody is living in? What happens to government using the scarce resources devoted to serving the rich in these real estates to employ Nigerian youth graduates in the sector and give them the required training to become real estate developers who will be deployed to build many beautiful homes and modern facilities that will cater to the needs of the masses. Remember that, the major difference between a rich man and a poor man is the quality of house both of them are living in. If you take an impoverished pepper seller in Mushin and put her in a beautiful duplex in lekki, she is no longer poor provided she can satisfy her other needs such as foods and clothing. This technique is what China is using to have moved over 800 millions of their people out of poverty. Shelter is the key differentiating factor between the rich and the poor and should be the primary concern of any responsible government. And this is the only way to bridge the gap between the rich and poor in Nigeria.

Cry to bed? You are a dreamer. I achieved all my properties in the same Nigeria you ran away from like a coward ,when you were being strangled as you said.

For your information too, I spent more than the amount I mentioned IN THE SAME NIGERIA ooo, just to touch people's lives this period.

So who is the boss?

Hopefully you will take all your relatives to your adopted country too so that they will not be victims of banditry and kidnapping.

Wish your country good and stop bad-mouthing Nigeria. Things must surely get better in future.

Simple message.

In as much as your complains about the current state of things may be valid but that won't still change the fact that things could go from bad to worse next year

Instead of complaining or blaming the government, rich uncles or whoever that didn't assist you,see yourself as the architect of your own destiny, work harder if you are already working hard and learn a high income in-demand digital skill. With that, you will never complain about the prices of things again

To the glory of God,this year has been my best year so far, affiliate marketing and other sources of income has made me not to feel the heat of the economy so much

Happy Christmas and New year in advance everyone
Merry Christmas boss...What affiliate marketing program are you into?

But if this situation has happened before this time of Buharism, then it's something else. Honestly
Okay let's blame the all the problems on the Jonathan administration that left power over 6 years ago then. Still playing the blame game card after 6 years in power, Sai baba for 3rd term. grin

The inadvertent choice Nigerians made when they acted in ignorance to vote into power a man without certificate
It's not an issue of certificate jor, at least it's not the certificate that will rule but the man. The previous leaders with certificate too have disappointed us, but I doubt if this country has ever been bad as it is right now.

you are so right, I remember the election they did in my hometown, it was a chairmanship election.
So me and this my neighbor already have someone in mind to vote, a very credible person.
Getting there, some guys were sharing 2500, that was how my neighbor tun 360 degree and voted for the other guy.
I confronted her but she told me that "na money wey she see na she dey folow" and that is her enjoyment from the government.

This is the same person complaining bitterly now, many people usually focus on the short term when making decisions not knowing "long term" should always be our focus.

The 2500 didn't even last for 2 days but she is suffering for 4 years

Suffering and smiling monkeys. So far you're not ready to fight to the death for the betterment of your country then you'll continue to suffer forever. Nigerians are cowards and cheaters in nature and deserve all the suffering! See them all running to first world like stupid cowards! One way or the other you'll still come back to your country because no place can be better than your hometown. You'll still miss something about your country and come back. Even all the first world countries you're seeing all fought for their countries. Wars, sacrifices, discipline and death is what made countries like the USA what it is today! If you want change & freedom, you have to fight for it! Even if it cost your life! That's what true patriotism is all about.
Nothing wrong with migration
Your demonising of it is somewhat imbecilic..
But you are right in the other sense
For Nigeria to be better, you have to fight for it as a people

No amount of preparation by Nigerians can change anything. Buhari will deploy the military to shoot you to victory while apc in the south west will use their thugs to attack where Igbo/IPOB voters have more concentrated.
The only sane people that have ever tried during Nigerian elections are the south east and south south and some parts of middle belts regions.
And I see this playing out again except that this time around the South East will not be voting and there will be very low turn out in the south south region.
The Northerners and South Westerners put all of us in this mess.
Buhari till 2030
The South East is actually the only tribe that vote without tribal sentiments but other tribes will say it's stupidity. Look where their wisdom has landed us, I've counted more than 16 people who dropped their phone numbers begging for help in the first 4 pages of this thread to show you how hard things are for people.
Let them give the Biafrans their country, at least they've shown they make good leadership choices

I hate show off both on social media and in real life. Because it is meaningless to me.

The message is clear.

Nigeria may be facing challenges but condemning it every time is not the solution. Buhari and his regime made things worse.

Let's hope another president makes things better.

Get little sense and change your mentality.
