To be sincere Senegal national team as the best squad going to afcon next year base on the squad list release . I don't know why Austin Egwoavon take 4 goal keeper to afcon when you can use the one slot to invite a defender like Kevin Akpoguma and please I don't want Moses Simon and Shehu Abudalli doing in the squad

I tire Ooh. Because Rohr made Collins his indispensable tool, he now feels he's better than Ebuehi and co.

But Collins has been on the team since so how come it’s now you want him to be dropped for Ebuehi ? Abi is it not same Collins that played at last afcon

Collins was even benching aina nobody complain but now you guys don’t want Collins in the team because of Ebuehi while playing blind to lord shehu of sokoto

Talent without hardwork, is useless. That's why Iwobi, Nacho, and Nwakali are still struggling.

Potential plus hard work, is the ultimate.

Dessers was invited how many time by Rhor and played how many minute?

Same goes to Bassey et al.

Even Ebuehi that we know is better than some people was He playing during Rhor's time...
Is Gernot Rhor a local coach too?

Leave him with his hypocrisy..

No wonder his link has always been our weakest link. No wonder we conceed goals and opponents build up from his angle. No wonder.

Collins and Rohr my ass.

I have never mentioned Nwakali here. I think this is the first time. And my take is this.

You cannot force a player to be more serious than he wants to be. We should not be using SE to help people's career. It should be the other way around. Dude is off and on and lacks drive, ambition, and hungar. He may play today, what about tomorrow? Will he be consistent? Do we need that kind of player?

No!

Let him figure himself out. Let Nacho too figure himself out. We should stop using SE to patch people if to make them feel they're doing great when they're going backwards.

Cc. PurpleHouse

Trying to explain , understand and accept certain situations could be a tough task.

But , get this ; there are many players who had the talent and drive but luck never shined on them.

Additionally , you don't live with Nwakali to learn he is not ambitious. This is actually an ignorant comment.

Leave Nwakali alone , for once. You have been playing without Nwakali , yet , your SE aren't able to play simple passes to impress and entertain their hungry fans.

Rohr was fired for a reason and it's not because we are losing matches but the team has no style , no consistently and no vitality.

Many crappy foreign born has been lifted through SE ; examples are Okoye , Ekong, Iwobi. Also, some players who doesn't have any business being there have also been helped to revive their career , main culprit is Ahmed Musa and Shehu but you want to die on top of Nwakali's case.

You guys are hypocritical and it's shameful. I have kept quiet here while you lots continue to eviscerate the youngs man's reputation. This is a Nigerian boy for Christ sake. A player who has brought glory to this country and its not even like he sits on the bench and doesn't play. This is nothing but hate at play here. He is a Nigerian who plays regularly for his club, and , yes , I still maintain he is the most gifted midfielder we have.

I read people mentioned Aribo a couple of times as if he is a competition to Nwakali. What quality has Aribo added to SE ? ZERO! Una rush carry number 10 give a player who could not control a midfield.

If we are to be sincere with ourselves, on current form none of our CB's matches Ndah and for Bassey, he currently seats on the bench for Balogun at Rangers. The unfortunate omission was Tyrone but Shehu had to go to AFCON for the sake of politics. He, Musa and Umar Sadiq are the only players from up North in that squad.

Simon and Dennis are also from the north though..

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.
Sequel to my post yesterday where I expressed my intention to take over the responsibility of organising the annual Nairaland Nigeria Football award as requested by Icon4s this year, I'm glad to announce that the award would go ahead as planned, and I'll be coordinating it with Drklever.

Three people from this thread will join the nomination committee alongside me and Drklever, with icon4s being a honorary member.

On this note, members of the thread are to nominate 3 monikers they wish to be part of the committee. Unlike how it was previously done where we would nominate only one moniker, I suggest we nominate 3 each so as to make it more flexible and have more people nominated.
Here's how the nomination selection will be sorted;
3 points would be awarded to the first name nominated, 2 points to the second and 1 point to the last.
Example: I nominate Danielnino00, Drklever and icon4s. in this case, Danielnino00 will have 3 nomination point, Drklever will have 2 and icon4s will have 1.
At the close of the nomination process, the 3 monikers with the most points will be added to the committee. Any moniker that's selected to the committee but doesn't wish to participate for any reason whatsoever will be replaced by the another one from below the top 4.
Nomination starts now and close on Monday, December 27th 2021.

Thank you.

I nominate my humble dark self grin grin grin . Una go need my dark views ooo

I think it is no longer safe for all these foreign borns to feature for us. Seems we are even wasting them than the other countries. Dessers should go figure himself out. I feel for him. With all his passion for Nigeria (Super Eagles), yet no value and appreciation.

I really feel his pain.

If we decide to go ahead with local coaches, do not expect the inclusion of foreign born players especially someone like Dessers whose father is Belgian. It's a sad reality.

Because I made some very solid points. Leave the guy alone , please. The ones you have been inviting for over 2 years where have they taken us.

Nwakali may not be as physical and tackling as you may wish him to be, but this is a player that could control a danm midfield without fretting.

People argue he is playing for Segunda but Shehu , Musa and many players who play is lowly league were still invited.

Nwakali was very impressive for Alcaron last season and now he has been playing regularly and gained a lot of applause.

Sometimes, you have a very gifted player that just doesn't seem to make but it's not always because they are "lazy" , "ambitious" and doesn't just want to excel. This commentd are repulsive.

Awaziem is probably our best defender , currently. He has played very well everywhere he goes but look at where he is today. Would you condemn his talent because he plays in Turkey ?
