I also think instead of looking for jobs abroad, Nigerians should create one too over there just like the Indians and Chinese. Funny thing is Nigerians are very creative in terms of business creation but once they relocate they abandon their skills and go out straight to search for jobs.
Well, I won’t blame any of them...it’s not easy starting a business here not to talk of starting one abroad, but this mindset must be shoved down, we can start an online business and see where it leads.

I haven’t left the shores of Nigeria before anyways, so my opinion might not be realistic.

the chinese and Indians have a community mindset. 3 families can stay in one house to fasten home ownership. But Nigerian if mother inlaw or bro comes to live wahala go burst in no time. Nigerians have been burnt too by their fellow man. Those other people contribute money to buy businesses and grow from there. They are like lions while we are like leopards. Shame on us blacks sha. These guys create companies and use work permit to bring their people. Na mumu business we like to open here that cant bring anyone over. Even some people don want their siblings to be on their level or above them too.

True.

My boss is from Indian lineage but you’d never know as he was born and brought up in Europe. He told us how his grandpa relocated to Europe and helped every single member of his family to relocate to Europe leaving no one back home in India. How many Nigerians can actually do this ?
It’s very sad that we only want progress for ourselves alone and not for people around us.

I have never gone to anyone's thread to attack anyone, I create my thread and i get attacked, where did I wish others failure?with everything that I am posting encouraging people? I guess you must be high on Christmas beer, i can't please everyone, ok, guess what I am going no where, I think you are actually mistaking me for some else,I have been abused and attacked for selling in a kiosk in Brazil, like I said I can't please everyone, I still don't understand where this your hate and envy is coming from?

It shouldn't be about pay. Keeping your place clean/organized, learning self discipline ,instilling a work a work ethic, training your mind to focus etc will teach one very valuable insights into success when you eventually land a job.

In Singapore they're very disciplined society ...and look how far they've achieved? Then here in the west potential employers wanna know what you did between losing a job coz they know the value of keeping oneself disciplined & engaged.(Again look how much the west has achieved)In fact all the stuff we enjoy today were once "nothing" but ideas, thoughts brought about by folks who refused to just idly sit down.

They say the only time success comes before work is in the dictionary... so train yourself with some stuff when you think there's nothing to do.

This is someone appreciating the honest truth that I always dish out, don't allow anyone abroad use pictures to fool you, we know the trick, they would come on nairaland and start claiming what they are not if you ask them to show evidence they won't because they are faceless and don't allow anyone fool you, many Nigerians are homeless in the USA and Canada, you can make it in any country abroad, me I am doing my aboki koisk business grin in Brazil(like someone yabbed me on nairaland, he said I leave naija go Brazil go open aboki koisk, lol) and I pay my bills that's what matters to me and I live comfortably in a 2 bedroom and many people lost their jobs during the pandemic but me way day aboki kiosk was still selling grin grin

This is the real dude! Enough of spoon feeding.
Please anytime you hit Africa, try and visit Rwanda, for a three day photo opt, visit to our office and a voice/video session. All expenses for all three days on Bigkoko African Integrated Services LTD Kigali Rwanda. Thanks l you!

We know.

Anyone posting too many pictures online is possibly faking it.

But sometimes, I prefer to wash plates abroad (for roughly $10 per hour, 30 hours weekly...about $300), walk my nextdoor neighbour’s dog out twice every evening for $30 per week, launder and iron some clothes...$75 per week, and freelance a total of about $4000 writing online ...and living a lowkey life there than be in Nigeria earning ₦120k per month with Yoruba insults here and there. That sum in Naira is about ₦1,814,300.10...and that is not all. That is just not working even hard. Many Naija students there work like jaki there only to return and Benz up here...claiming Cubanna. They call it packaging.

My online diff with the people you talk about above is you'll never see me posting pictures because I'll be busy saving it to return to Nigeria and invest.
I love your style..

That fake food concept is really a business idea. Many restaurants in Nigeria don’t have fake food displays. Many restaurants in Japan and Korea have these displays that actually show what the menu looks like.

If you have such a company in Brazil Making fake food, see if you can introduce the concept to Restaurants in Nigeria

Most of them abroad will claim to be better than Ayo Fayose younger brother who is a Van/Truck driver in UK.

The truth is working in Nigeria in Private sector is slavery.

Many of such corporate workers will prefer to be drivers abroad with very flexible working schedule.

Emphasis, flexible working schedule!

How will somebody wake up 5am to beat traffic, resume 7am, close 7pm as everyday work culture and get home by 9pm?

You wan kill yourself?

Are you seeking validation because at this time, you are drifting away from being objective which I thought you wanted to be. Live your life, say your truth, and let others live theirs too.
