WiszyFraud:Nose masks cannot do anything in this situation because it doesn't generate its own oxygen. The only thing that can help is an oxygen-generating machine like scuba and similar equipment. |

Why are the road markings still crispy white if the air is saturated with black soot?? C'mon, it can't be that bad. I stay In PH and have my windows shut but it isn't as bad as it is. Obviously there is a campaign ongoing on NL, but to what end is yet to be seen. |

Angelfrost:Firstly, I have never voted in my life, secondly, people I have uplifted financially, emotionally, spiritually and socially is more than your village people, thirdly I have never benefited from the government of the day, past, present or future. Now back to the topic, this soot thing is over hyped, name one person that has died as a result of it? Though I ain't saying is not harmful, but the report is being blown out of proportion. |

Angelfrost:Is that a state government or federal government issue....most of you are just ignorant about the working of government...so Wike controls the security agencies that have on several occasions been found complicit in coniviving with those bunkering abi Wike should go and shutdown the refineries and oil production platforms flaring gases. |

The last time it was an explosion they caused in Bayelsa due to their incompetence, Afonjers should leave oil bunkering for the locals and stick to what they're good at, spits. I have been following your comments on this forum and noticed that you’re such uselezzz being. You behave as if Yoruba people are the genesis of your problem. How can you hate a tribe to the extent of linking them to every evil things you come across Try to chart a new course comes 2022. |

I CAN'T PITY FOOLISH PEOPLE WHO CAN'T EVEN PROTEST TO SAVE THEIR OWN LIVES. NATURAL SELECTION WEEDS OUT WEAK AND FOOLISH PEOPLE. The idiot is still saying "God bless Nigeria"? Praying for what is behind their ordeal... Some people are beyond idiocy. |

WiszyFraud:True talk sir, I'm thinking of buying a nose filter. Searched through Jumia, it actually cost 15k at least for bed time. Lemme add to the face mask. It's now survival of the fittest. Anything to do to stay alive, do it. |

This black shoot has been around for some years back. I wonder why drastic measures had not been made to checkmate this Environmental and health hazard. God save people of PH. |

lesbiconverter:It is easier to destroy than to build. If you are in a faux union like Nigeria where you know the chances of things going wrong is far far more than things going right, so you can't see that the odds are stacked against you? So what will happen? Wait for another 8 years before you can begin hoping someone comes from your area to rule you? Stop blaming your president. There is little he would have been able to do. They are simply presidents on contract, largely answerable to the cabals holding everyones' destiny down. You don't seem to understand the source of your problem properly. |

jamesversion:Bros it's very bad o, what part of port Harcourt do you reside ? I can show you my medical report from UPTH to confirm plus receipts of the drugs I've been buying for respiratory issues for more than two years now. I even went for a face scan of recent. I am currently at the village for yuletide, believe me, the thought of returning by new year scares the hell out of me. |

I thought they said Afonjas are educated. Well, it is becoming obvious that it was a fallacy. So according to you people a Scottish man is one of you savages. Illiteracy is a disease that manifest more when th victim is an Afonja. Lol. Mr Afonja, see Jo (John) Wedderburn

Angelfrost:There is currently a study to analyse the components of the soot to narrow down on how to fight it He has setup taskforce to identify the root causes of the soot and based on preliminary finding most multinational were found culpable as a result of gas flaring including the Ph refinery company and the former petrochemical Industry..these companies the federal government have very huge investment interests on and based on that they refused to act despite failing repeatedly to legislate and enforce the ban on gas flaring. Secondly the activities of those burning tyres to extract metals and ofcourse illegal crude oil refineries. Why do you think military personnel bribe their way to be posted to Rivers state , those guys make millions, the army and the Navy particularly are neck deep into oil bunkery in addition to aiding and abating those involved in local refining and pollution of the environment. The Police and NSCDC even assist the local refiners to move their product for percentages. Where you guys not in this country when Wike made headline by pointing finger on a particular senior military official and accusing him of bunkery. |

Investigative:Wow. Pollution from crude oil exploration is part of the environmental problem in Portharcourt. A BBC documentary says that unprecedented number of newly born babies are dying in the oil producing areas of the Niger Delta. Who will bell the cat in these areas, as people like Nyesom Wike continue to talk Rivers people different from Igbos? He doesn't know that divided, it's easier to fall. |
