Why are the road markings still crispy white if the air is saturated with black soot??

C'mon, it can't be that bad. I stay In PH and have my windows shut but it isn't as bad as it is. Obviously there is a campaign ongoing on NL, but to what end is yet to be seen.

This is the morning of 27th December 2021. As I drove around the city of Port Harcourt I noticed that the entire atmosphere has changed by this dangerous flare of black soot.

It is believed that the people that causes this health hazard usually does it throughout the night and the residents starts seeing the effects on the environment once the day breaks. This same dangerous substance is inhaled by the residents on a daily.

Port Harcourt residents had to mop their homes more than thrice a day if not the entire floor is covered with black dirty surface.

Government must move fast to restore healthy environment before it becomes too late.

There is currently a study to analyse the components of the soot to narrow down on how to fight it

He has setup taskforce to identify the root causes of the soot and based on preliminary finding most multinational were found culpable as a result of gas flaring including the Ph refinery company and the former petrochemical Industry..these companies the federal government have very huge investment interests on and based on that they refused to act despite failing repeatedly to legislate and enforce the ban on gas flaring.

Secondly the activities of those burning tyres to extract metals and ofcourse illegal crude oil refineries.

Why do you think military personnel bribe their way to be posted to Rivers state , those guys make millions, the army and the Navy particularly are neck deep into oil bunkery in addition to aiding and abating those involved in local refining and pollution of the environment.
The Police and NSCDC even assist the local refiners to move their product for percentages.

Where you guys not in this country when Wike made headline by pointing finger on a particular senior military official and accusing him of bunkery.
