Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo has raised alarm over the spike of black soot in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, IgbereTV reports.

The black soot blamed on illegal bunkering and gas flaring, was first noticed in parts of Port Harcourt and some neighbouring local government areas like Eleme, Oyigbo, Ikwere, Obio/akpor, in 2016.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the singer shared photos of people's feet, palms, hands covered in black dust and called on residents to speak up.

"This is not funny!!! This is not fair. This is deep wickedness," he wrote.

"The devastating effect of this soot will be felt for years to come ,so let’s not sit back and keep quiet.

"It is Our port harcourt. Dear port harcourt people. Them no Dey manage bad thing.
We must do something NOW!!! @unitednations @unep HELP"

That tyrant in river state government house will not see this and act fast. The ogogoro drinking bastard of the governor will act fast assuming it was something concerning peaceful IPOB just to please the parasitic northerners.

When you have armed soldiers in charge of illegal drilling operations, you expect that it'll stop just like that?

Hunger and government insensibilities in providing refineries have cause people to go into illegal refinery. The biggest jobs that makes one an overnight millionaire in the Niger-Delta are thus.

1. Illegal Bunkery
2. Illegal Refinery
3. Militancy
4. Pipeline Guards
4. Soldiers protecting kpo-fire owners.

This is good. Wike needs to sit up and act fast. Flyovers are good but this soot can adversely affect the health of millions who are supposed to use the flyovers.

The Nigerian Government needs to have zero tolerance for illegal refineries in the Niger Delta.

Anybody caught operating an illegal refinery should be killed with their organs harvested for reuse by people who needs it.

Kpo fire

In less than 10 years, a lot of Rivers state residents would have respiratory diseases plus cancer. I pity babies and known asthmatics in Rivers state

Illegal refineries are not invisible.
The corrupt and incompetent government knows the locations of the illegal refineries.

Wike needs to sit up and put an end to this. The residents should also try to adopt the use of facemask to prevent inhaling it

I know what i ayam saying

You don't know what you are saying.

Nigerians should learn to take responsibility for their actions.

A man would kill another, we would blame government.

People would burst pipelines, we would blame government.

Illegal refineries nko? Na government we go blame.

When government goes down hard on the perpetrators then the propaganda would start.

You guys don't love yourselves or your environment.
