Peter Obi's calamity is gradually spreading, may God have mercy. There is the need for thorough investigation in to this scenarios though to our understanding it's a will of God

Am sure there will be a comprehensive insurance on the whole business. If not, then the owner is a complete failure.
If the business is fully insured, na the insurance company go dey cry now while the owner will be smiling.

Such investment should come with their own personal fire truck and some of the workers should be trained to use those equipment.
Because fire service in Nigeria is very bad

Wisdom. Every ShopRite, big investment should take this advise

But you're paying for it thru taxes (unwillingly) .

Why not make sure they do what they get paid for and if they can't those taxes for fire services funding should be completely scrapped.Be like Americans who said "no taxation without representation" ...or in your case no taxation without services.

We all know corruption will not allow them function properly, that why it's good to make preparation ahead of time.

What a country.....even down here in Lagos those shop on Nnamdi azikwe , broad street, balogun etc got no fire extinguishers. And those idiots still keep generators in their shop, zero vent, no emergency exits ......

Is the fire still raging or already under control?
Is the area already secured?

I guess the fire is already under control. Fire fighters must have assessed it that way....unless some hungry birds go there to pilfer and cause a dissipating fire to turn to an inferno again.

Took a detour past there this evening, about an hour ago.
The fire is out completely, the place was sealed and two fire trucks were on the premises.
The building is totalled, completely destroyed, nothing salvageable.

Lol..
NIGERIA is on auto pilot .
nothing is working . Of course weso not have A commander in chief.

I repeat nothing is working . Corruption is at its peak ..

If the fire service cannot put out fire after 24hrs , so tell me what hope is left ....

we are at a cross roads...
Our emergency services are very poor, however, some fires even in a building, not wild fire o, can burn for that long with best equipment and capacity to fight it. I still remember Notre Dame in France like yesterday

is like you pull that word out of my mouth, you can't go into investment of such magnitude without making provision against this kind of situation.

There is no way that fire started at 8am yesterday. I was there around 10:30am yesterday to get some stuff. Only to be told that they open by 12noon on Sundays.
