Scholarship in Ireland

At the moment, theres no full blown scholarship for masters. What we have for masters is just a discount directly from the institution you're applying to. They would deduct it from your fees. In my own case, €1000. The fees in comparison to USA isn't very high also.

Im well aware of very good scholarships for PhD, depending on the interest in big firms in your chosen Field of research. These companies see potential in your research especially if they would benefit from the findings...
If you're interested in scholarships, the link below is a must have.

https:///scholarship365

PS the link doesn't appear as it should be, hence the need to check the Telegram group.

I think there is the GOIES scholarship. A friend from India got it and it covers full tuition and €10k spending money. But one needs to apply early in the year for it

Please advice me data analyst vs business analyst Dublin bussiness school .which has better employment prospect after graduation .

My 2 cents would be to study a course where you have some experience in. This will help you greatly after the completion of your studies in landing a permanent job. There are lots of jobs here but many require you to have some experience beforehand. You might be lucky to get a graduate job but an experienced one pays better and is easier to get

I finally have good news. Been waiting for this to be honest.
Been hoping to meet or know someone who applied for a job all the way from Nigeria and got it, got an employment visa without the need to study here and pay huge tuition fees. It's huge cos EU students have their fee which is usually half or less than half depending on the course and institution.
A fellow reached out to me a year ago about assisting with information for NMBI registration. I always respond to any message I get. I told him that was the first time Im hearing about it. I gave him the little advice I could think of. He reached out to me few days ago, that he's gotten two jobs though not in the Republic of Ireland but In Northern Ireland, I wrote stuffs about it already. He also go another offer from an hospital in the UK. He's in a dilemma now.
Cambridge University Hospital- UK
Belfast City University- NI
You can drop your advice here and your opinion.

This shows its possible to get a job even while you're in Nigeria, ofcourse he has three years experience, has a nursing degree and wrote the Nursing council exam. Nothing is impossible. Praise the Lord!!!!!!

PS.
If you have degree in IT, medical field, no money to pay for tuition. Just start applying, reconstruct your CV to the country standard,
The CV here is only two page. Nothing more than 2. Get your experience loaded, fill it up with activities and design it properly. Once you've gotten STEM job including those courses we think that there's no prospect, you're getting your employment permit. Engineering, biology, chemistry...even accounting, accounting students are the only one that can apply for a three years or more extension after study inorder for the country to allow them finish their Professional exams, students can only get two years after study, but they can get four years depending... Companies will even be willing to sponsor you if you're employed in the field of accounting, but if they pay for your exam, you have to sign a contract. Start applying!

Everybody journey is different, follow your path.

Visa is given for only PhD students, the visa covers yiur family. POF for 6 should be approximately more than €25,000.

Architecture is a very good course to study as architects are in demand. Most jobs in the construction industry is in demand. Another option is to go for construction project management which gives you leverage to sedgeway into project management. You can also try my course, Sustainable Energy Engineering which is highly in demand.

Best of luck!

Be warned that overstaying a visit visa will lead to you getting banned for future applications. Your best bet is to go legally via study or through work

Please sir, I really need your help! Visa have been given to me for study at Dublin Business School but from all indication the journey may not be possible due to medical reasons, right now I am considering terminating my contract with the school so that my tuition fees will be refunded back to me but my agent is telling me that they will not refund my tuition fees. Please what should I do in order to get my money back? I'm considering Visa cancellation or revoke please advise me on the future implications of cancelling my Visa approval because according to my agent that is the only way to refund my tuition fees. My program start January 24 2022 please your advice will go along way in helping me.

I wrote about the free agents today. Look for them online, get their address and pay them a visit.

Its tricky with the question. Your masters can't always be the same with your bachelor, the university main aim is if you can cope with the school work and study path.

Urgent information!!!!!!!

I will not In good conscience continue to encourage people to come to Ireland. At the moment, there's housing crisis, I'm personally insecure about this. If you can deal with this. You're good to go. Lots of students rented hostels and paid ridiculous amount for hotels. That's the situation now.

You can also apply to the neighbouring country, the UK, they offer similar two year post graduate permit, which is why I was in Ireland in the first place, at the time of my application former British PM had stopped the two year post graduate permit, that changed the destiny of alot of Nigerians that were forced to go back to Nigeria after spend ridiculous amount on the UK education. It would have been better to open fish farm in Nigeria with that money or do something not lotto or betting, the money will cut. It would have been better to set yourself up in Nigeria than to study in the UK at that time. During the time of the current Prime minister, he brought back the two year permit scheme to retain skilled workers.

Not to lose every hope, if you want to come, stick to September entry and resume very very early, also don't get too desperate and get scammed. Also, yourd in good position if you havd family that can host you, you havd to factor in the lifestyle which includes difficulty running away when you get uncomfortable, expect to attend church like your life depends on it, some might insist on morning and evening devotion, you might be the professional house help with a bachelors degree. Haha.

Trust me, Nigerians are very abusive and cold, even the Indians complain of the same too, among themselves, thanks to capitalism and poverty mindset. Even in a country like this, you'll still see people hoarding food and acting up when they think you consume too much food. It's actually possible to spend less than ten percent of your income on food, except you have very exotic taste - you like food stuffs from Nigeria, or you like prepared food, food stuff is ridiculously cheap in relation to your income. Yet they'll still be hoarding it and measuring.

I used to work temporarily In a workplace setting, then I was moved to a different part of the firm and had to work with Nigerians, jeez its not like they were my boss. You need to see how I was almost controlled and manipulated, to this day, I've refused to go back there even though the money was fantastic, work life balance is important, I really felt for my immediate sister in Nigeria that has no option like me to switch when she hated where she worked, she had no option but to start submitting applications and yet continue going to work. How can she be productive?
With the current crisis in Nigeria, every unemployed youth deserve stipend from the government, you'll be surprised how much 5k monthly can do, this will push the government to create jobs for them so they'll benefit from getting tax rather than paying stipend, there's enough wealth to go round, but greed has finished us, even churches can't pay their staff with all the offering and tithe they amass, they only pay musicians cos they're hard to get. They say their reward is in heaven. Ushers, security, toilet cleaners, choir get nothing, gosh I've started rambling.

The story was I had to run away from the place, was almost puking with working with them, working as a support worker has afforded me alot of enlightenment and knowledge, there are things we do that we're supposed to be ashamed of ourselves.
YOU DONT FLOG A CHILD, flogging was part of the virtues of our colonial history, people don't flog animals yet you'll come here and tell me your child whom you love deserves it, that thinking must change.
In flogging that child. It will bring out the worse in you, it's called physical abuse. I can't count loads of times as a child that the intensity of the cane would vary according to the emotions of the parents and teachers, it becomes a channel for pouring frustration that the capitalist boss, pastor, leaders has unleashed on you. How are people even okay with having people with excess resources and people with absolutely nothing, if this isn't a definition of hell, I don't know what is.

Then you grab that vulnerable kid. That has absolutely no say about his life and rip his body just like they did to Jesus christ. Passion of Christ is a beautiful story but we mustn't forget that we had the land and they had the bible, at the end of 1960. They had the land and we grabbed the bible. I still enjoy so many aspects of Christianity, music, teachings because I grew up with it. But I know the truth, the bible has been adjusted to suit an agenda, even in some churches today. They flog children mercilessly, still steal, take women right away, believe in conversion therapy, flog people to cast out possession, abuse kids and religion is the biggest reason to discriminate and fight amongst ourselves. You need to see the wrongful segregation and discrimination that occurs from one church to another, most won't help you at the point of death just because you have article of the marine kingdom, like necklace, chains, attachments and so on.

I'm not in support of attachments haha or straightening hair, it's a common sight in Nigeria to see women with hair that have shifted back. Everyone think its normal cos its the fashion to change your hair like we change clothes, and unravel the things that make our hair healthy, all of these are dated back to the colonial times when the white lady wanted her slave maids to look presentable. We were often forced to run a metal comb in fire and to run that through the hair, in the process, cooking part of your beautiful face just to look like them. Then chemicals that did the same was invented, was listening to a guy tell me how he almost became bald last week, he told me left the relaxer too long, I almost died.

How in the world does rocking a style with close to 20 percent of your hair gone, starting from the front, who told us that's normal, after I've stared at foreign ladies here, then i come to our African ladies and see the front hair gone, I always push my eyes away from them cos it feels like self harm, ladies here are looking at doing all manner of surgeries to enhance their weaknesses according to the current standard of beauty, its the norm for pretty irish ladies to fill their lips to get our type of lips, get tanned to be darker, that's why some might look like trump, haha. It does add some perspective to their colour. They're enhancing themselves, while we're harming ourselves, if a white lady woke up with some of her front hair gone, she'll go on a melt down , rush off to a dermatologist immediately.

To be honest, there's lots of difference kissing an African and a foreign lady, the lips makes lots of difference that's why they get it done, I did mention a concept, standard of beauty, it actually changes just like fashion, the rise in Acceptance of thick women started through Kim kardasian, boyish women used to be more attractive thanks to the modelling agency, now we're pushing for big bold and beautiful in recognition of people that have difficulty reducing weight. Thanks to poverty, big women were seen as richer and attractive while in a country with cheap food, skinny ladies are highly valued, that's the thinking, its all about scarcity. Also big bold and beautiful shouldn't be encouraged and there's higher chance of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and so on
Its not to encourage women to go bigger to be accepted.

I honestly couldn't sleep, its been a long time I wrote here, I find it hard to drop my phone as my train of thought keeps charging, I do find it hard to read up what I've written, pardon my mistakes, I write as if I'm talking that has been my writing style since I was in a writing club in the university.

The reason i mentioned the issue of flogging was in the video that trended in February of a footballer chasing his cat around, they called it animal cruelty, I didn't even see where he landed a hit on the poor cat, but he might lose his job, his cat was seized after an outcry, that's a country that listens to the citizens, its important to know the country is collectively yours, in a sane climate. He was a top footballer but they still took action against him,
last year at the Olympics, a lady was almost torn by the public after she was seen punching her horse out of frustration cos it refused to do her bidding, you needed to see the horse grin like its payback time, who knows what has been happening in private.

People can't beat animals, how much more a human being like you. How much more your child, how much more someone you claim to love.
