TimeTraveller:Yeah, relatively, it's mere in comparison since the former's GDP is nearly quadrupuled that of the latter. Nonetheless, Akwa ibom's GDP on it's own is weighty, considering the fact it outweighs that of many island countries. Oya, are you happy now? |

It is not about the look ooo. It depends on the turf... And one thing you guys should know is that most of these Politicians (especially the West & East ) lack good maintenance culture. If this is in Nigeria for example, in the next 1 to 2 years, the stadium would be eye sore. HRSweetness: |

OP I would choose not to insult you cause I am not that kind of person but would advise you and others here not to be dragging Nigeria over everything most especially when it concerns such nitwit of a project. I would also want to point out to you that why everybody is beckoning to Nigeria including your stupid developed African countries is because in Nigeria, what the national government of other countries are building and claiming as developmental infrastructure are what Nigerian state governments are building not the national government. Our national government is way ahead of you and your national government and that's why you can only compete with our state government forget what you think of us; we are way ahead of you. If not for politicking, Nigeria is the most secure and tourism avenue of Africa. Nigeria has it all, from infrastructure to industrialization. Most of our infrastructures in Nigeria are state government projects and especially stadiums, we have many of them and they are state government projects. You can't compare the Akwa Ibom State Stadium to this shit you put up here, even in 3D it is not worth it. You guys should just stop the bullshiting of Nigeria. If we would be sincere to ourselves, no African country can compare to Nigeria if we really want to be out. All this is the reason one nitwit would come out to the internet and mention one that only Lagos a state in Nigeria is way more richer, industrialized and developed than that the country is the gateway for Nigeria artists. Just imagine the insult all because we Nigerians we don't appreciate what we have. It is right time we stop this dragging of our own country and start having regards and respect for our Nigeria regardless of what may come so others we give us the respect we [b]rightly deserve. 3 Likes 1 Share

What do you expect? They are hosting the African cup Nation and of course they need good stadiums for that. Nigeria would have done better if we are to be the host. I hope they can maintain it after the competition... |

Abuja and Lagos stadium are better than this one let alone Uyo stadium which is the best in the world. It is only our Governors in the Southeast that are fooling themselves by the contraption they build in the name of stadium. Come and see what Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi built in Nsukka in the name of stadium. 1 Like |

What is this thing with African stadium and athletics tracks. It will be very cool if we have w the stand very close to the actual field. The experience is way different. Since it's an ad on build stadium there should be no tracks. The stands are actually too far from the players 1 Like |

How much? In Nigeria, we build projects for times 100 the value other countries build theirs. Egypt just built the largest solar power plant generating 1.4GW of electricity for $5b. Recall how much our people have spent since 1998 on power? When we call billions of dollars in Nigeria for projects and I hear the value of executed projects abroad...we have no respect for the value of money because the people in charge are stealing...when someone steals, they will have no respect for the value. 1 Like |

Jidemoo: Bro under Buhari it is a crime to be a Nigeria. Since 2015 bro can you even point to any reasonable thing Buhari has done? Even the useless train they are glorifying in was not started by them and through them the train has put Nigeria sovereignty on sale. Bro it is a very sad situation. I swear to God buhari can never build this type of stadium infact with Trillion dollar given to him free he can never achieve this feat. 2 Likes |
