Me:
First of all, I’d like to welcome everyone present in our temporary church Hall, we are working on the main Building in God’s name, and i welcome you all to his holiness. But quickly and because of time, lets talk about God’s love.

(I let the church settle down and began)

Today, we commence our second official service in this church hall, you all have to beer with is as you can see that outside in this same vicinity, were are building a standard church center, one that will accommodate the people of God, its a place we’d be able to worship the Lord almighty, its gonna be a family and not just an erected building, home to many and a spiritual hub for the spiritually hunted. Please let it be known that this church’s mission is to be able to take in an influx of people, and teaching them the holy lifestyle. The main point is to win souls for God.

Now because of time, lets quickly talk about God’s love . (Fliping through the bible on my tablet):

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Brethen, how many of us in this congregation can sacrifice our loved ones for God? I know alot of us would throw our hands in the air, I know this because, you’d probably think because you have a choir son and a choir daughter the thats sacrificial enough, most of us can only give our kids to work in the house of the lord and not for sacrificial purposes

But then again, God’s love is more than just handing out a kid to work for God, the bible said and i quote again, for he gave his only begotten son, and if you believe in him, you’d not perish but have what an everlasting life. God loves us so much that he gave us this ‘only son that he had, and let him pay for our sins with his life.

But then again, look around you, in your homes, at your job, market place or where there’s space. Everybody still indulges in sin. The initial love through the father to the son, the crucification of God’s only son, (the same son he used to show us love, the one who came to pay for our sins with his life) its still the same old story, we all act like the bible didn’t show us that part like Jesus didn’t die for our sins. We still indulge in sining even so.
And our God, the almighty, the all sufficient God, he’d still sit calmly in heaven and do nothing. Our God is a calm God. Slow to react but steady.

I went back and forth with the preaching and while i gave the sermon, church hall was quiet, i enjoyed the quietness as it felt like everybody in the congregation looked up to me. Well its my church and as it stands I’m the leader so it had to be like that.. so seated among the fine white chairs that had been arranged for the VVip people infront of the church, i saw a cluster of movement, two guys were seated in front with their tablets too, and when we made eye contact for a minute, they gave me the crooked fingers sign stylishly, I understood this, and it didn’t take me long to realize that they were from the brotherhood. I was preaching though but i returned the same sign by crooking my fingers to the symbol of the brotherhood logo as i knew people won’t notice i did that. I wrapped up my preaching, other services planned for the day took place and by 11am church service was done,

i had an influx of pastor’s office visits, well people were trying to get to know me and other people were trying to see me for consultation. It already seem like too much work, but I didn’t see it as work because i was enjoying it. Everyone dispersed, in the comfort of my service apartment, i counted the money that came in as a result of church offerings and tithes.. asides from the paper I tossed aside, i counted three hundred thousand six hundred and eighty naira. Oh well, thats a start. Imma throw that in the church account by morning i said to myself. Then the paper i tossed aside, i picked it up, tore it ope and a check sat there starring at me. Two hundred million naira check!! Huh?? The brotherhood paid in their tithes.
