More percentage of the oil money should be given to the oil communities. They deserve it.

Most countries in the world (third world countries), oil belong to the country.
Look at other oil producing nations.

The Niger Delta should also understand that whatever freedoms and devolution of powers that were impossible to achieve when its Indigene ( G. E. Jonathan ) held central power as the President on the Nation is likely impossible to accomplish in any different outcome.

In Simpler terms, Your brother could not save you, who then will save you ?

What the Niger Delta truly seeks and legitimately deserves can not be found within the four walls of the Nigerian State.

I won't be prescriptive or suggestive but save yourselves by whatever means, the wasted years are about to span your lifetime. Elsewhere, progress is being made with one's resources, in Nigeria it has become a tool for corruption, deprivation and Insult ultimately.

GEJ was a "meek" but good man. It is unfortunate that NG system needs a cold hearted good man like Wike.

I like both GEJ and WIKE.

GEJ didnot put the rod in the red sea and the Egyptians crossed over and are now dealing with the Nigerians (NG threatened GEJ not to put the rod down into the red sea through)

If WIKE campaigns for presidency I will vote for him but GEJ will forever have a special place in my heart ..... so as OBJ (even though I am against his adamant decision not to decentralise the country - OBJ is still one of the best presidents we have had.)

GEJ remains my number one president sha. A gentle dove, a kind man placed in the seat of a warrior cry

I don't know what is wrong with Baba Obasanjo that he always prefer the status quo where he benefitted immensely than correcting the error of his age that is presently killing this generation.

Whether he likes it or not, Nigeria must restructure or disintegrate and when that is done he can form his own Nigeria with selfish people like him who believes in suppression and oppression.

But Zamfara’s gold is only for Zamfara?

Obasanjo is talking about a silly constitution because d oil is not in his region. This is the same man that ‘dashed’ an oil well to Alakija, his mistress then.

I blame d Nigerdeltans for all ds rvbbish. Any day they are ready to take matters into their own hands, they know exactly what to do about this brazen cheating from Fulani northerners and their O'yes members in the SW

Niger-Deltans are not serious people. Have you heard their position on the issue of breakup of Nigeria that Yoruba-Nation and IPOB agitators have been clamouring for? No, they kept quiet because Buhari has been "oiling" their palm with their own money. They ought to have been at the front of the agitation because no other region in this damned country has suffered or his cheated more than them.

Oil wasn't first found in Yorubaland but in oloibiri, an ijaw territory. The oil found in ondo state isn't well explotored yet. E plenti, the one discovered by mobil in lagos too but they're concentrating only in the niger delta and i don't know why. Ijaw people are blessed but their leaders aren't voicing out for their right because they seemed to be comfortable with the crumbs they give them. Late Ken Sara wiwa was left to echo this voice alone by his people and that was why abacha over powered and killed him. So, sad. I met this man once, in ibadan with his pipe in his mouth at odusote book shop ealy 90s. Niger delta ought to be as rich as texas or UAE today but kaikai money they receive don blindfold them

That's just another angle to it, it seems they prefer to hold power in this contraption rather than fight for self determination.

It is ironic to see them start blowing pipes up and down when Jonathan lost election but now activate silence mode when agitation for self determination is high.

It is only in Nigeria that the ownership of oil is an issue and there is so much problem with sharing the oil revenue. I had to ask some UAE official about oil revenue sharing formula and to my surprise they said they knew nothing about that

They don't know because it's not necessary as the government is doing what is expected of it towards its citizens. If Nigerians have access to an averagely good life with all infrastructures in place and the economy doing well, people would not be interested.

You really can't force people to claim to be what they are not. Let us be honest, it's apparent the Igbos and the Niger-deltans have issues from the civil war that are still unsettled. Until both groups come to terms and resolve it. I ran into an elderly man from Akwa Ibom who clamour for "One Nigeria" because he believe that's the only protection minority like them can get. He claimed many of their elites were deliberately wiped out during the Civil War, not by Nigeria by the other group. I do not know if his claim is true or false. But as a Yoruba person myself that is clamouring for the breakup of this evil country called Nigeria, I was perplexed by his clamour for "One Nigeria". This is an old man that said that he couldn't even get his pension in Nigeria, but now live with one of his children in USA.

Bros I will try Al my best not to be overly emotional about this.. But please it will be better if you take this advice dearly. Until you understand this battle is between the upper class and the lower class, then there won't be any change in this country. There's no difference between wike, bihari, Tinubu atiku and all. These guys don't see themselves through the lens of religion and tribe,. They only see themselves through the lens of interest that is available to share. The masses are just too dumb to see this. Until those people from the lower class come together in unity this country will always get worse. Anyone who believes Nnamdi kanu and Sunday igboho are fighting for a sincere course is stupid and naive. It's still the same political class who don't have enough access to the Commonwealth are still the same people who are financing all these guys and these guys are being paid heavily. When it's time for revolution everyone and by everyone I mean the lower class will plunge out to correct wrongs in our societies. Bro know this and have peace
