It still doesn't change the centee hold of his philosophy. He want to play possessive football and fleeting attacking system. That's all I need to know.
But in all truth Eguavoen did not so much talk about his philosophy as he did that of Westerhof.

Shouting nonsense will not change the point. It is football, quality and tactics.

By the way, did Keshi not drop a highly rated Yobo for Oboabona and Omeruo? I guess that is club football.
But Yobo like Keshi in 94 was battling with his fitness. Not like he was fit and Keshi willy-nilly decided to bench him

When has any English born player ever impressed you , or brought glory to Nigeria, apart from Ikeme ?

I am waiting.

By the way , yes , I have no confidence in those English groomed players. I , however , believe in the talent and future of my Nigerian bred talents.

Oh its you.

Henry Onyekuru to replace Victor Osmihen. I could have prefer a Cyril Desser cos of his current form for his club side

Fear indigenous coaches
Dessers is one of the most inform Nigeria forward at the moment but because he is a foreign born He will be ignored

That's sum up the reason why this indigenous coaches barely make progress outside Nigeria... because no system can tolerate their corrupt and biased nature

You will see them jostling round the national team as if their life depends on it

Una no dey tired of unending Argument? Decision is made, List is out, nothing anyone says can make a Difference.

Gatecrashing a Tournament List shouldn't be new to us again..... seem we forget even Haruna Lukman surprisingly made WC List under a foreign Coach?!

Nwakali is as talented as his Mates presently in the Super Eagles. He lost his way, but he seems ready to redeem his Career.

Maybe he's gonna be our Joker at the Tournament. Maybe he's gonna complete our Puzzle, especially as far as Midfield is concerned.

Coach Austin has made it clear he needs a Midfielder like Oliseh who can play long ball effortlessly and effectively. None of our present Midfielders can do that - to be honest.

Ndah is a ball playing Defender. Aerially he's so commanding, so why the fuss? Is it because he's playing in Africa?!

Let's calm down until we see them in Matches, then we can justify, criticise their Inclusions.
It's totally pointless crying over Eguavoen's selection. Given the fact that Rohr submitted that list and he 99% selected from that list, I don't think he's done badly. What remains to be seen is his tactical nous.

What Dudes ain't OK with is - inclusion of Nwakali and Ndah instead of their Favourites. Even if Rohr is still in charge, both Musa and Shehu would definitely make the List.

Ndidi has not performed well yet for Eagles, but he's untouchable coz of his Club form. However we are ready to barbecue Simon in GWG regardless of his performances with his Club.

This Thread eh..... na to take am easy.

Victor osimhen should deal with his Toxicity
SoftBrest:
Victor Osimhen needs to confront his DARK SIDE.
There are 2 Osimhens one light, one dark. "The LIGHT OSIMHEN is exceptionally considerate, a team player, generous spirit"
The dark Osimhen can be angry, vindictive, ill- tempered, mean- spirited. Both sides are constantly at war with one another in him.  ( Victor Osimhen greatest fear is the thought of being weak)over the years he as succeeded to accentuate his strengths and develop new ones. He became tough, resilient, fierce. But his WEAKNESS has not been dealt with and it will not miraculously dissappear. If it's not dealt with, its presence sinks into the unconscious, into the shadows of the personality waiting to come out in strange ways. It becomes the DARK SIDE. With Osimhen, whenever he experiences anxiety, these dark side would stir from deep within in form of sudden outburst and tantrums, with powerful desires to harm those he believed had crossed him on the field of play.
Osimhen tells people that he doesn't care what people think of him- the opposite of the truth.
Victor osimhen should look within and measure the darker sides to his character.

Eguavoen is working with Rohr's regulars. There is little time for preparation and no chance for even a proper friendly. Ndah and Nwakali likely broke in due to tactical preferences. It is not too hard to understand.

How does he know they will fit into his tactics well?
