owagbeba:We can get ourselves ready for electric cars when we make Powerbank available to complement the battery shutdown of the car. Western countries has little or no issue with power failure unlike in Nigeria, that is just the difference. |

Kenn55: Honestly, I’m beginning to believe this hypothesis that there is a consensus amongst the elite to keep the masses impoverished. But what really befuddles me Is when a few breaks out from the impoverished mass and makes it into the political class, they start acting under the same consensus. Any explanation? Look at Oshomole, wasn’t he part of the struggling class impoverished by the ruling elite. |

owagbeba: You are right. I want to believe that it is a black man thing unfortunately. There is no other explanation that would make sense. Let us even remove Nigeria and evaluate all black owned or black dominated countries from Africa to Central America, there you see a pattern. I think we have this mindset of let me win and let others loose instead of win win. We as a people are happy to win and see others loose. This I think is the foundation of our problems. |

The one that baffled me was on the NNPC thread, these guys where all friendly b4 d final lists, immediately some of them got d job & had thier douse of brainwash...They started saying they are now "different from them, they ain't the same" ,They also threaten any1 else who tries to interact with the experience hire applicant to provide info it was a really interesting thread |

Eriokanmi: I got your point. Those folks in government and their godfathers are demons. Had slightly similar experience with a tech I developed that would help people avoid buying land that belong to the government. In all honesty, the main guy leading the office responsible was all in buy its someone who happened to be a fake "pal" that work directly with the governor that talked (behind my back) say "land na territory of their forefather on Bourdillon Street" and it's a no go area. So it's okay if people continue to lose billions every year. Not surprised though. That's the way it goes in Lagos. About the Epe Airport thing, the problem has more to do with the fact that there is already a federal airport in Lagos. |

ajl:You're right there are 2 Fed airports in Lagos but our population and proximity suggest to me that we need one for our state. Lagos is unofficially 21m in population. You can draw the population of 3 African countries from it. London City alone had 5 major airports Heathrow, Gatwick( owned and operated by our own, Mr. Ogunlesi), Stansted, Southend and London City Airports and they are all busy. In population, Lagos almost trippled London so, we will be fine with a state owned airport. Don't also forget that our population is increasing. That Epe is another lekki in the making, with the way people are thronging there now. The airport would also serve a significant part of ogun state. They're not just serious ni. Happy new year. |
