What do you want to know?

Thank you sir/ma KennyKale

I'm using a UK bank account from Halifax Bank, with a balance of over 17K GBP. I got cas with the same account, my tuition deposit was paid from the same account. The first money lodged into the account was lodged on the 30th of Sep. Last transaction was on Dec 14th, when my deposit was paid.

My question is, I'm looking to apply for visa this week, is it okay if I print from Dec 6th to Jan 3rd? Or does it matter if I print from Sep 30th that £15K was first paid into the account? It's my parents acct.

Also, is it mandatory that It's signed and stamped? It was printed electronically and it shows bank logo, acct number, address, date printed, balance and transaction charts.

Thanks.

1.Are you currently living in the UK or lived in the UK in the past?

2. Is the bank account yours or your sponsor?

You can print from the date the money was deposited and you don't need to stamp it.

Mr. Justwise, if I printed from the day the money was deposited, won't I be going against the 28days rule? I thought we are to print 28days old??

Pls school me sir. Thank you.

You don't need to get it stamped and signed.
Print the statement covering a 28 day period prior to the date on which you apply for the visa online. For instance, if applying on 5 January, print a statement covering 28 days up till 5 January.

You can actually present a statement covering a period longer than 28 days if you like, as far as the money required has been in that account for the 28 days prior to your application date.

Good morning guys, I'm trying to book a flight with Emirates and I saw I disclaimer that the flight is subject to Nigerian Govt approval, what does that mean? Should I still go ahead to book?

Secondly I checked Ethiopian air, to see if they are going to Birmingham, The flight I wanted has a layover at France, do I need a French visa to be able to book it?
Please who has used Emirates or Ethiopian recently, help me clarify these questions
Any help here bro @justwise

I'm not sure if the Nigeria govt and UAE are still banning each other

How long is the layover?

Have you tried Turkish airlines?

You can print from the day the money was deposited or just print only 28days it doesn't matter but you have to attach your birth certificate and a letter of consent from your parents to use the account

Emirates don’t come to Naija rn, for Ethiopian airlines if you have to transit through france you need a transit visa. Check Turkish, Qatar or British Airways

@aprokodaughter @justwise @all,

My course start date is 17th jan and school is insisting i must be in the UK latest 16th after which i should not bother to come to the UK.

I did my biometric in abuja on the 30th and i intend to go ahead with online enrolment.

My question is what could be the worst case scenario if visa did not come out before 16th?

Will there be an issue at poe if i want to enter the UK after the 16th?

Please has anyone applied for Form A with any commercial bank to pay school fees since the CBN trade portal e-form A was introduced? I’ve been trying since 2 weeks now and the bank keeps saying the Application number generated is invalid/null and I should contact the Trade System to complain. Did anyone experience this? What’s the way forward really?
