Hello house. For the OKTB can one use a one way ticket to do it . Also can one travel with it from lagos airport.

You can travel from Lagos with OKTB.

Generally, two-way return ticket is requested, since nearly 2 years now, however, some students have claimed to use one-way ticket with OKTB recently.

Reading the university's foreign student website is the ideal method for every new student to start. Almost every university has a welcome page that instructs students on what they should do when they first arrive.

In addition, these days, every institution has a social media presence, such as Facebook or Instagram, where university staff are frequently ready to answer queries before or after arrival.

The international student office will also be your initial point of contact when you arrive at the institution, where you can ask questions and receive answers.

Good luck!

There is a new virus variant in town called Omicron which has made several countries stops incoming passengers. If you are coming for spring semester which starts in February, kindly wait to then to resume; possibly the airline will now be flying.

Which new regulations ? Which country are you paying from because if is Nigeria, you can easily pay from your dorm account or give them Naira and the bank will do the transaction provided you supply them the items they need like your acceptance letter.

Those are the safest way to pay!

Other ways are risky!

I think if you’re a Nigerian you can enter but you’ll have to do 10 days quarantine. But people from South Africa and some other countries are prohibited from entering.

There is a new regulation with international payment of school fees through Nigerian banks. It is now done online through the Trade Monitoring System. Since December 2021, I don't think anyone has successfully paid through this portal. Nevertheless we hope to know the outcome as soon as bank resume full operations on 4th January,2022, which will be on Tuesday.

Oh, I see now.

However, if someone has their own USD or EUR, they can pay the institution directly without needing to use this new portal; I had paid more than 20,000$ using access bank just 7 days ago, and it arrived at the university in less than 48 hours.

Cyprus is a scam. Please stop going to Cyprus.
Unless you want to engage in yahoo and prostitution, please don’t think of going to Cyprus. Better to remain in Nigeria and keep saving your money to go to other better European countries.

I repeat; CYPRUS IS A MAJOR SCAM!!!

This can be done anytime before arrival is not time based. You only need to do it before you arrive North Cyprus. In most cases, before you leave your country as most airlines or immigration officials at exit port may want to ensure is done.

Some students already started arriving since last week, which I think is too early.

If university starts 17th February, considering 14 days quarantine, it’s advisable to arrive end of January if accommodation is already sorted.
