One of the most poisonous snake in Nigeria.

Even though you look experienced in handling the creature, but be careful. Vipers are know to have fangs that can rotate back and front, together or independently. They can find a way to inject venom if not well immobilized.

These creature are dangerous, such that in many that are ovoviviparous (hold eggs inside their bodies, where they hatch inside emerge as living), the pregnant viper delivers on top of a tree to allow the newly delivered snake drop off and move on. A strike from the newly delivered snake can kill the mother-snake.

I remember the last time I was on a farm, about 15 years ago. I do gum body follow them.
A very long snake passed my front, with full speed. Before I could even tell the people around me "there's a snake here" this thing don disappear. Everybody kept telling me to "thank God"

That wasy last time on any farm. That scene still dey my head. I hate snakes abeg
