I'm Yoruba and I'm voting for this man of ideas. Enough of the men of Establishment and Bureaucracy who led us into this generalised mess. If you created the mess, it's reasonable to say that you cannot create the solution. I wish you Godspeed, Kingsley Moghalu. It isn't about the tribe, it's about our collective freedom, our collective EMANCIPATION.

This man is stressing. In as much as I like his blue print, let him at least be realistic and start with contesting in his senatorial district (that’s if he will even win). Which one is presidency every four years, wasting time, money and efforts. Even if Nigeria turns to Somalia, as far as the bulk of the citizens are illiterate, people like Buhari will still be the ones ruling us.

Mehn, alcohol Na bastard I still never get sleep. sad

Liar, GEJ actually got lots of Northern votes in 2011. OBJ was not favoured in 1999. Everyone predicted he will fail based on your analysis, his fellow yorubas did not vote for him, yet he won. The problem is the "machinery" i.e the party. If Moghalu is the APC presidential candidate, he will most probably win.

PROF Kingsley Moghalu is not your typical politcian. He is a natoj builder, a technocrat and someone with a blue print...others like Tinubu and atiku and Orji uzor kalu are poster boys who want power for themselves and their allies...the masses do not matter to them

Under what party did Trump ran for President? Republican is just like PDP while Democrat is like APC. These are the two major parties. So if Trump had contested under one unpopular party, he wouldn't have won with all his billions.

NIgeria is yet to have ideological parties.

PDP and APC are only soap boxes ..full of career politcians who we wrongly call leaders.

Republicans and Democrats are idelologies not just parties.

I would not even say ADP is that ideological...but my point is that if APC or PDP offer even Jesus Christ a platform to contest it will be at a great price such that we the masses will not get one tenth of what they promised

No they will only support their co failures or partners in crime.

Moghalu has a hard job he has to convince critical mass people online b4 he can convince more of them offline. Town hall meetings, schools, market places are good bt it’s just stress cos most of these people are also online or have friends and family online.

If u can’t win the online masses how can u win the offline masses who are harder to reach in their different bases. Some of them already have the parties they vote for Bt if they hear u buzz with a bang online they will be easier to convince offline when u approach them.

The discussions start online for a candidate without a large party structure.

Yes! You are right. But a reality we can't shy away from is that without a solid platform, no one can win election, most especially Presidential or Gubernatorial elections. Here are the things that wins election (combination of all in that hirachy, without leaving one out):

•Party
•People
•Money
•Candidate
•Media
•God
•Strategy
•Programmes/Manifesto

Can you see where Party is and where Candidate is?

When important matters bothering on nationhood arises instead of attacking issues you people will be attacking personalities, typical of herd/zombie mentaliy.
If you have any evidence he looted CBN as a deputy Gov while under Sanusi (who supposedly supervised the looting as head of CBN) why haven't the EFCC and co arrested and tried him? Come up with more intelligent arguements not this regurgitated talk of kwarauption you people shamelessly mouth.
It is this same mentality of calling everyone thief that's why we have a saint today in power that have destroyed everything he met.
so you can defended Mugalu but you will open your mouth wide to accused Tinubu that have a good track records for govern a state, shame on you, majority of Igbo are ingrate, selfish and self-centered, Tinubu gave you people a platform to excell in Lagos state but you abuse it by claiming to take over Lagos from Yoruba, when the man resisted you guys, you come on social media to blackmail him with Tinubu the owners of Lagos and corrupt politician, still the Jagaban didn't reply you guys with evil, but continued to work hard when your political leaders was looting you state treasures dry and left your region without infrastructure, either Igbo like it or not, this is the time to give Tinubu a chance to prove himself that he can make Nigeria better, mugalu can never be a better President than Tinubu, let him go and prove himself from his state first before coming out for president, and you guys should keep shut about this your agitation that we don't need old man in power, a competent old man like Tinubu with the wide experience in politics is better than the so called young men they gave opportunity to rule their state and did nothing but looting the resources of their state, Soludo is now given opportunity to rule is state for good four years, if he do well we will all support him for president in future, but mogalu should go and start from somewhere before we trusted him with presidency job, thanks

He can't win under that party. I am sorry, if this sound weird. That's just a reality. It took me about 18 months to accept this reality. We were told the same during the last election while campaigning for Fela Durotoye on the platform of Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN). It was after the election when we all saw the results, that we had to accept the bitter truth that it is either APC or PDP. Unfortunately, these two parties won't give us the right candidate. ADC has no single House of Representative, Senate, nor Governor, and they want to win Presidential, that's not possible.

Many Nigerians are not fed up with suffering that's why someone will see a candidate like Moghalu and ask him to go and contest in his Senatorial zone or state. On one hand you people are crying and suffering under the gross incompetence of Buhari and his team
whose only solution to anything is going back to the farms and shouting Anti-kwaraption and on the other hand discouraging and abusing candidates with the requisite exposure, knowledge, competence of how a 21st century economy and an ethnically diverse nation should be managed. Instead of you people to rally round and say enough is enough same youths will collect 5k, Indomie and Tin tomatos and vote in another relic that will even out perform Buhari in incompetence and come back to whine and cry how their future have been mortgaged. We saw how the youths in Zambia rallied round Hichelema and made him the President despite the rigging antics of the former president.

Offcourse I already know that from the get go. I know what Ure saying and that’s why I’m 2019 I didn’t waste my time with any of these smaller parties cos I know they can’t win and are not skilled or ready to do what it takes to win.

This is why I said u must 1st convince a critical mass of people online. Meaning viral and widely accepted by people online then u go offline to follow it up.

For a Party without the structure of Pdp or Apc u must tell urselves the truth at all times I don’t need a election results to tell me the out come when I can see the level of things achieved compare to where it should be or where the competition are.

Apc never had this level of structure they were regional b4 at best only south west, they had to combine with Cpc who had the North and pasts of east

For a largely nonintellectual society ruled or distorted by corrupt practices and materialism u must be ready on all fronts to deal with these realities. There are different voting blocs, some u will have to win with money or levels of events which u share gifts, takeaways and souvenirs.

Some blocs u will win by having discussions online and convincing them. Some bloc u will need allies to convince them and sm blocs they are doubting Thomas’s who know u are right bt want to see ur chances or level of progress, alliances built, mass acceptance b4 staking on u.

U don’t achieve critical mass of followings and discussions by a certain short period, if u don’t pull r attract necessary support, if u don’t have alliances to build or work with to improve ur critical mass then U are not ready. It’s better to stop.

Is it possible? Yes bt it wil take a lot of planning and U may have to work with old influential parties, people and politicians where necessary to draw support while maintaining ur ideology. It’s hard Bt doable.

Even Apc is yet to fully settle with its alliances, there are internal struggles and sometimes we think the party or alliances will break or won’t survive because of different interests. That’s how hard it is.

If Apc breaks up we will be left with only Pdp imagine that? A one party state filed with criminals??

Either ways I think a 3rd Force is necessary and possible. It was once only Pdp for 16 years on federal level, till Buhari and tinubu made Apc to give us a normality of 2 party state. And that was only just in 2015 so why can’t we have a 3rd Force if we are serious. undecided

Lol.

Moghalu has to do more.

It is not enough to come up with seeming smart and catchy blueprints every four years.

Besides, Buhari has performed creditably if really you have been moving around the country: in Agriculture, Economy, Infrastructure etc, even Security. This may be difficult for people who aren't widely knowledgeable about governance in Nigeria, and indeed people with pockets of biases here and there, to appreciate.

Connecting Nigeria's two largest cities, Lagos and Ibadan via quality rail infrastructure is no mean achievement. The Lagos-Ibadan Highway is the busiest in the country, and accounts for a significant portion of the nation's manhour losses, translating into several billions in local currency daily.

The Ibadan-Kano segment of the Lagos-Ibadan rail project is billed for completion this year.

We all know about the progress of Second Niger and Bonny-Bodo Bridge projects and their significance.

There is also the bridge linking Nigeria and Cameroun, which has been completed, as well as the Warri-Itakpe Railway which was abandoned for over three decades, that is now in operation.

In Agriculture, Nigeria's rice production has hit over 6million MT in a year, and we can now see visible proofs of economic diversification in substantially increased collections from FIRS, Customs, Immigration, JAMB etc, following decline and fluctuations in global oil revenues.

On security, even though more work needs to be put in continually, we have seen tens of thousands of former IDPs resettled in their communities in the North East, especially in Borno state. Go to Borno state and see for yourself. The people genuinely appreciate what the president has done.

The major road connecting Borno state and Cameroun, which was closed down, for almost a decade, in the heat of the insurgency under former President Jonathan has been reopened for economic activities.

I think that leaders at the subnationals levels are the challenge, and of course, the populace.

Why would any right thinking person always want to blame the President for the slightest setback he / she faces, without any recourse to his LG Chairman, House / NASS Representative or Governor?

Isn't it ridiculous?
