olisaEze: With this your explanation, it is safe to say Akwuzu, Oyigbo and Izombe killings are all massacre.. Agreed? 2 Likes |

helinues: You do realize that the Lekki toll incident isn’t the first time security agencies of the govt have been accused of deliberately attacking their fellow citizens in an attempt to stamp out divergent opinions. It however is the first time a govt instituted panel has found the Fg culpable in mass murder. Should it be swept under the rug because that’s how it has always been done?? 1 Like |

helinues: Oga this is where you’re getting yourself confused. The Lekki toll incident is a massacre, but what happened in Oyingbo can best be described as a genocide. A massacre is the intentional killing of a considerable number of human beings, under circumstances of atrocity or cruelty, or contrary to the norms of civilized people while a genocide is the systematic killing of substantial numbers of people on the basis of their ethnicity, religion, political beliefs, social status, or other particularities. The difference between a massacre and genocide is that to massacre is to kill in considerable numbers where much resistance can not be made. That is what happened at the Lekki toll gate. What happened at Oyingbo was a systematic attack on one ethnic group under the guise of hunting terrorists. Does that satisfy your question? |

jneutron4000: This flag is even from a movie and not a real scenario. There is a thread on Nairaland here that listed all those fake photos used by people and this flag is from some guys acting movies before the EndSars protesters mistook it for a real one. The guy already came out to debunk it but you know you can’t undo that kind of thing coz millions of people already retweeted. https://www.nairaland.com/6196653/endsars-fact-check-fake-news 4 Likes |

olisaEze:Stop running around in circles.... The question is simple, unlike Akwuzu, Orlu, Oyigbo, Izombe, Odi, Zak Ibiam, Shite (Zaria) massacre where the dead are known, the families are known, people visited the victims families to condole with them, we have pictures and videos but here in lekki with hundreds of youths armed with camera phones, we're yet to see the pictures or videos of the dead, no families has come out to claim that their relatives died at the LTG, no friend of friends is searching for a missing friend at the LTG, not even a bullet hole in any structure around the LTG, No blood stain on the road. All we have is propaganda and lies. Falz, Rinu, Macaroni etc have not deem it fit to visit any of the "ghost victims" family and you all want to force a massacre hoax down our throats? Get of it bro, the 419 massacre has been bursted. 1 Like |
