Politics in Nigeria requires a lot of permutations and calculations. The Southerners always claim they are very knowledgeable but the Northerners have always proved more politically savvy. Rumours of some people inviting Jonathan to contest the President in 2023, I believe is by some Northerners.

The calculation, I believe is that they want to push Jonathan to contest now so that by next dispensation, power will return to the north again. Jonathan won't spend more than four years as he has already spent a term before.

This is why no Southerner should support Jonathan candidacy now. Otherwise, South will rule for only four years and power will be back in the North for another eight long years.

Anyone supporting Jonathan, Atiku, Tinubu and their like for the number one job in 2023 need to have his head checked.
Some people don't really wish this country well.

It's actually a trick by the fulanis for power to return to them very quickly. They know Jonathan can't be president for more than two terms. So if he wins this one, then power goes back to the north the next term.

Yes but which north ? With Jonathan as president , southern unity against fulani ,plus northern minorities who says benue , kogi ,kwara and pleatue can't be president after Jonathan ...that's 12 years outside power for the fulanis
Then power comes down to south east ..that's 20yeaes then goes back to taraba that's 28 years then back to yorubas that's 36 years

I'm Igbo. There's a need for equity. Every tribe that's part of this mix deserves a chance.

I'm more interested in Biafra. If we're still in Nigeria, things should be done with fairness. North and South West have had their fair share.

APC has her issues, if they field a Northerner, the party will imploy. PDP is taking that step to restore back power to herself.
