@Dubai Estate, Awka
The CEO of GSS group wrote
Earlier today, I had my first site inspection for the year, after the whole bustle of the yuletide.

The pace of work at the estate is extremely impressive. It's pertinent to note that we are very committed in delivering on our vision for the estate.

This 2022, we've set out to move with the speed of light in our quest to delivering a world class estate in Anambra State and East of the Niger

A standby Firetruck MUST be stationed within this location. The state must protect this edifice from fire disasters. I can already see. Those setting supermarkets on fire are not sleeping.

A fire struck within the location will ensure that any fire is immediately nipped in the bud before it has time to become a calamity.

Nwanne, The Anambra Fire service HQ isn't 2 minutes drive. Moreover, you have not factored in a traffic hold-up. Not to mention the need to cross a busy expressway to reach the other side where the ICC is located!

I don't know why our people always play with fire until it's too late when we lose everything. I can almost hear Mr. Sabinus like Peter Obi throw exactly the same type of argument that Abuja fire service is just only 1 minute away from his mall. In his mind, he is saving money "prudently" by entrusting his entire mall and its contents to the efficiency of Abuja fire service. Instead of his own dedicated fire truck on site!

Asking Innoson to supply one standby firetruck to be stationed at the ICC is not a waste of money. Moreover, the fire truck can be used to respond to fire distress calls in other parts of Awka. Just that its primary station is at the ICC.

This ICC will cost billions to build and furnish. If a fire outbreak from its kitchen, in-built banking hall or even electrical fault catches on the roof without prompt and instantaneous response before it becomes a true inferno, such fire will be a monumental disaster for the state. Not to mention that the ICC cannot be ever repaired due to the prohibitive cost of such a venture. Therefore, one fire truck stationed within the compound is a very very worthy investment to ensure that type of catastrophic fire is never allowed to take root before fire trucks from other locations make it to the scene.

The distance between the two is probably not up to 300m. So if they can't service the ICC now, then I bet the won't be able to do so even if their HQ is inside the ICC.

They should aswell install the escalator as soon as possible and make the interior look more digital. Kudos to them for what they have done so far but more still need to be done.
I am glad with the impressive traffic being recorded at the airport. That means in few years to come, we will be talking about expanding the terminal building or even building a new terminal (Terminal 2) in order to Meetup with the capacity of people the airport is hosting; like we see in advance world. And the good news is that the money may no longer come from the state treasury but from the revenue generated in the airport.

Yes oo.
A larger Terminal 2 is inevitable considering the traffic recorded so far and what it is projected to be in months to come.

Some days ago some people were arguing the size of awka millennium city with other estates in enugu, owerri and asaba and from 5.48 section of this video I learnt that it's a 10,000 hectares estate according to his excellency. And it's going to be the first and best smart city in SE upon completion.

This is actually what some people are arguing without facts, comparing a 10,000 hectares smart city to 2000 and 3,000 hectares in enugu and owerri.

Nice estate. However the developer should have channeled the water to a dam or artificial lake and used it for water supply. Not too late to do that.

Anyone who compares Awka Millennium City to an ordinary estate has zero experience of Real Estate. You only compare Awka Millennium City to Eko Atlantic City if there is need for such, which is twenty five square kilometres, that is approximately two thousand five hundred hectares. Still you can still see size gap. Awka Millennium City is the only planned smartest city in Nigeria currently.
