Seun please take necessary action the moderator here has long dropped the ball and is incapable of moderating this section as even the attempted intervention when you directed an investigation shows that he is not on top of his game.

The scam been run here is clear for anyone who really wants to know the truth.

The QS was the right person to play mediatory role here since you consulted with him first when the fall-out started, but... At this point you were already agitated. Then came review of contract sum versus work done and agreement on an amount to refund. Since QS was involved in the initial bid selection, he should have been in better position to bring to figures a near accurate amount that was due. But his quote which was clearly overbloated from evidence supplied here had to be reviewed a number of times. It makes me question his competencies or if this was a deliberate sabotage. He was asked to show proof here but ignored.

Look, if you’re going to attempt a defence of the indefensible, come correct! Like, put some effort into it no matter how dead on arrival.
Apart from the sum owed, the thing most of us will never forget is the #2MM quote vs #1.4MM signed contract and your friend’s attempt to re define the terms of that contract after collecting money! Who does that? A so called seasoned builder with over 10 years experience attempting to tell us that what the #1.4MM covered is subject to wide interpretation because it could be marble or not bla, bla, bla! Classic utterances of a shady businessman and not a particularly sophisticated one at that.

You did not notice that part of the exchange with the QS? Abi that is the language of honest businessmen in your neck of the woods? Sign contract, collect 100% disbursement and then months later, start to define what the disbursement covers? Na so dem dey do business?
