Danielnino00: Caf and silly reasons eh. See Euros o. Full asif covid no hook them. Carrying matter for head like cement. If they wanted the african fans to fill up the stands, they should have prepped this aspect earlier. But they didn't!! Even NPFL games still got more attendance than what I'm seeing. So annoying. 1 Like |

That Amunike Visit is golden. Ride on boys!! For this lack of creativity at this tournament proper, I'm seeing the Nigerian trio at the top of the MVP charts by the q/finals. This thing wan dey feel like Principal Cup. Na vuvuzela dey make am feel like something. Else it will be like Olympic qualifiers. 5 Likes |

Game day: The Super Eagles vs The Pharaohs We are likely to see a midfield of Ndidi-Onyeka-Aribo. Yep, Nwakali may have to start from the bench in this one. It's Egypt and they have Salah. I can understand the need to have compact Defensive cover across board. In this set-up, at least I believe Aribo will be able to get his moments close to the box coz he will be the most advanced of the 3 MFs. Onyeka (The Tank) will have to roam in this set-up, win balls and look to drive forward if need be to feed the Wingers and Aribo near the box. Ndidi will sit in front of the defence as last resort if anyone gets past Frank The Tank. Our playmaking will be majorly from the Wingers in Ejuke and Chukwueze. Not much playmaking is expected through the midfield as we will need to be more direct and "hard-core" with that set-up. Fight for every ball, win it back, get it moving towards the Wingers or an Aribo close to the box. Ejuke and Chukwueze may need to come central/in-field as a decoy when necessary with Aribo sometimes falling to the wings to create an overload alongside the Fullbacks from either wing and cause a few one on one situations with defenders so he can use his short incisive passes and 1-2 exchange skill to open up chances at goal. An Ndidi-Onyeka-Aribo midfield flanked by Ejuke and Chukwueze could mean one thing. Iheanacho could get to lead the lines today. Against Egypt, we need to be at our clinical best. And Nacho is the most clinical of the forwards in Camp. I hope this strategy and more work if this is the midfield we start the game with. Soar Super Eagles!!!! 14 Likes

Game day feel fairly confident of our chances today. Egyptians will of course be dangerous, but I think we have enough quality no matter how depleted to get the job done. Looking forward to a lamentation free day LET'S GO SUPER EAGLES! 6 Likes |

do4luv14:OCT 18, 2021 And you forgot to state that I was the one that brought the coaching program Amunike was doing around Nigeria to light on this thread. TheGoodJoe:As for Eguavoen, I missed what the project was about. He drove the initiative for Dr. Terry to bring his coaching team to train Nigerian coaches. I thought he was one of the resource people but does not change the point that as the Technical Director of the NFF, he pushed to raise the coaching knowledge of our local coaches. |

jihday: Eguavoen should not let sentiments play a part in the decision. They should look at the last sessions and select who performed best. If it was Ebuehi, so be it. It is not by how long in camp but what you can bring to the table. FORM OVER EXPERIENCE. FINITO. 8 Likes 1 Share |
