The things you listed happen nearly everywhere on Earth, not just here in the US.

Most Nigerians with sense realize that the good outweighs the bad in terms of attempting to migrate to the US and don’t let odds that are greater than 1 in 40,000 deter them.

Let’s see: isolated killings/gun violence and drug abuse (which is a choice) versus free schooling for children, stable electricity, potable water, police/ambulances/fire trucks that arrive within 5 minutes, hospitals that will save your life even if you are penniless, your boss paying you every payday because it is illegal not to, SNAP benefits and food pantries if you cannot afford food, yearly tax refunds. Should I continue?

Almost every crime is reported in the US. [i]Man shot... man stabbed.... shop robbed.... woman raped ... man exposes himself to mi].... is it the same in Nigeria? In general... being robbed is one of the last things people.worry about.

This is labeled a "high crime" area ... it's the hood. Lady crossing street in foreground.... pressing away on her iPhone 19 .... does she look concern about being robbed?... or shot? .... never mind "thugs" in hoodies all around? Don't get it twisted.

In "saner clime", police respond to those crime scenes in less than 30minutes... Please just for clarity sake, please tell us, how soon does Nigerian police respond to distress call? AbalonaTested sir, don't ignore the question ooo.

Good point but you forgot to mention the killing in Nigeria like ritualists, the yahoo boys, police, the kidnappers and gang killings.

The killing in US is as the same as that of Nigeria

I know you will definitely travel to US if you have the opportunity

If I tell you that majority of Nigerians (even Northern Nigerians) have not experienced kidnapping and BokoHaram, would that mean anything to you? Note that Nigeria is also said to be a country of 206 million people.
I'm not saying U.S is bad though or that people should stay in Nigeria and not relocate. I'm just questioning your logic here for fun.

I noticed people seeking to travel there, don't think they can be victims. In short, most Nigerians don't think they can die abroad.

If I have the opportunity, I would really think about it. Years back, I worked on a project concerning their society, could be the reason the country seem somehow to me embarassed.I have people there shaa.

If you are actually talking about the killing in USA then Nigeria is not a place for you to live because the killings and all the bad things happening in this Nigeria are more than that of the USA

Not Comparable! Nearly 11 years of Insurgency in the North East(now snowballing into the North west) has resulted in a devastating humanitarian crisis, with tens of thousands killed and hundreds of thousands of people displaced as refugees, destruction of properties worth billions of naira, economic stagnation and worse forcing millions of school chicldren out of school. However, alot of people in the north have experienced the destructive effects of this disaster in one way or the other(myself included), to dispute against this known fact is self-defeating at best.

Roads don't have gulleys and mini lakes,Trash is collected every week never left rotting in the public marketplace ,most homes don't have high fences coz security is good, public schools have free meals and poverty rates are much much lower with no Makoko-like slums.

This one if they give am US Visa now, he will come here to taunt people with japa levels but here he is condemning what he has little knowledge of.

Yes there is gun violence in the States but how many innocent lives have been cut down by those guns compared to in Nigeria where the innocent is the sole victim?

Apart from mass shootings by psychos, most if not all other gun violence in the US today are crime and drug related and if you are not one of them, wetin go concern vulture with barbershop.

Calm down no be everybody abroad the shack. undecided

The mass shootings should be considered o. The probability of being killed by a psycho is higher there compared to here. I think the good system tend to make people blind towards the bad there.
