Ejuke plays like a primary 3C footballer. Very selfish being.

I knew Sadiq was bad but l expected WAY MORE

You are in the Segunda and have been for two seasons, this is your chance to SHOW WHAT YOU CAN DO.

Seize the opportunity

He will never have a bigger game than this , no urgency, no determination, no presence, no technique, no pace, no physicality, no aggression, no skill, NO NOTHING.

Nwakali self the AM the midfield maestro WOW lost for Words.

KC really found his position which is behind the Attacker , Aribo was very composed and if Moses had some finesse he should have scored. All round very good performance.

Low points substitutions.

I trust you to cap on Sadiq. Make we hear abeg

Credit to all the boys nice one. Kudos to Eguavoen for the game plan that starved Salah of the ball.

Warriors shift from Ndidi.

Ejuke still has to develop football IQ.

Ekong did well best game in the Nigerian jersey.

Okoye wasn't troubled much but looked imposing finally made a crucial save.

Enjoy your victory tonight boys you earned it grin

Finally oooo, we thank God for Okoye but he still has to work on his ball distribution.

All the Nwakali supporters can finally allow us hear word. But they won't. They will come here to say he wasn't given much time.. Nwakali is not SE material. That guy is wack. Severely wack.

0 goal and 0 assists in over 30 games for a player plying his trade in the segunda league as a supporting striker is an eyesore.

The only reason he's in the team is because his big daddy likes him ..

This is untrue. Sadiq was very active. Remember, we were parking the bus towards the end of the game and he was the only one pressing. He didn't get any chance, and the few times he touched the ball he caused problems for the Egyptian defense.
Leave the prejudiced man. What were you expecting

Abeg I'm using whatever Eguavoen and Peseiro believe in to beg them seriously; Ejuke should never be played in the NO 10 position. That guy is a very selfish mkpi(sorry for the word). He's playing from the wings and he's this selfish, playing him from the middle will just scatter the team finish. angry angry

We don't have CF Awoniyi and Sadiq not mobile at all. Great team display but one is missing,we don't have deadly CF

What is your definition of mobile?

Can you please explain Awoniyi’s goal bound header in a very tight corner saved by the goalkeeper?

Besides, those players are not passing to him when they suppose to. They decided to score by themselves instead of passing to him.

Also you guys are saying Ejuke was selfish for the two shots he had saved.

For the first, he pushed the ball too far out that he could not give an accurate pass sideways before having it cut out, so he just went for the shot.

For the second, Iwobi got closed down by the defender immediately Ejuke got the ball in an area he could pass to him. Everyone he could pass to was closed down or marked. The only free guy was Sadiq, and he arrived into position too late.

Hope the coaching dont get carried away with this result

They need re-watch the match tape and work on weak areas with the players and also help the player to do better as they take on the next match come on Saturday

Ask them?

I don't want to criticise Simon's game, because we won.
We see what we see.

Top performers

Ndidi,
Iheanacho.

Despite all Simon dribble, he couldn’t even create a clear cut chance or force their goal keeper to a save. End product was abysmal as usual. But, I will give him credit for dribbling his man considering how difficult it has been for him to do such

You see it was Rohr holding Moses' destiny
Rohr was a poison. Killed the flair and vibe of our football with his negativity.

Did you listen to Eguavoen post match interview? He basically said:
We respect Egypt, we respect every team at this Afcon and so we will approach each game with seriousness and play each game like it is a final.

Rohr was just too cautious and negative. He does not know that we are a nation of hope. We have hope, that's why we can survive all the madness and hardship in this hellhole called Nigeria.

And so therefore when we play we play with hope. That's why apart from skills and talents, we win games. Rohr came and took that away. That man na mumu man (in Asari Dokubo's voice)

I won't really fault Sadiq cause our approach to the game changed a lot when he entered, we kinda sat back with just him in front

There’s no pride boss. The man dribbled past his opponents today but as usual, his end product was abysmal. He couldn’t even force their goal keeper to a save… I will give him credit for dribbling his opponents numerous times… all I need from Simon is quality end product, Goals or assist

Tactically it was good to watch, they played a lot of through passes, the ball was on the ground for a good part of the game, and the players all played their roles beautifully

Definitely the best football on display at AFCON so far.

Ejuke that played ekuke football is the one you're praising grin

You people no kill pesin for this thread.

Ejuke had Iwobi in the middle and didnt pass and played into the side netting and you called that one threatening the keeper.
