Mistakes aren't peculiar to African refs..

As long as you're human, you can have a bad day.

This ref obviously had a bad day.

Maybe his timer read differently from the machine's time. As at the time he first ended the game, that was when his own clocked probably hit the 90th minutes, the machine timer as at then was at the 85th minute. So he added 4 minutes additional play time to bring the overall playtime to 94 minutes by his watch, but then the machine clock was reading 89 minutes there about. His timer could be the correct one. Afterall, the machine gave a wrong ball possession statistics in the match between Egypt and Nigeria.

Is referee using the TV clock?
Extra time - I think is not automatic.

Caf should investigate though!

It's not a big deal. In a South American League, we've seen how a ref pulled a gun at a player. In EPL, we've seen English refs openly rob clubs with different specie of ojoros. So it's not a big deal it happens in Afcon too.

It is what it is

Don't even try to justify the nonsense the referee did...out of the Leagues you mentioned, which of them have the referee blown the final whistle twice before 90 mins

Always making the Blackman and anything organised or led by him the laughing stock of the world.
In other competitions you would see the VAR room with the referees, then play stopped as the TV crew shows replays of the incident being reviewed by VAR.
In this tournament play goes on and the next thing you hear is that VAR decision has been made.
Ball possession stats in the first half of the Nigeria Egypt match that even a blindman hearing the commentary would know would be like Nigeria 65%,Egypt 35%;their own "akpruka" machine stats showed Egypt had more possession!
Even ordinary original footballs they couldn't buy, instead they went to buy ₦500 "fele-fele" football, for a whole Nations cup competition.
If they don't call any black referee for a world cup,you would see everyone accusing FIFA of being racists.
See the embarrassment this one has given this tournament for God's sake.

Shame on you with your analogy.. You people in Nigeria because Nigeria has failed, you always find a way to insult the rest of Africa.

Yes, fifa gave 5 referees from Africa center ferefeee slots and they will be there.

Yes, CAF hired a globally respected football manufacturer for this completion, they didn't buy fele fele ball as you stated. Companies can have malfunction in their production. And this is the first time it is happening in afcon. So, what is the big deal? Errors happen and that is why humans are humans.
English referees didn't get a slot at the world cup, and we know how much of mistakes and corrupt that can be.. But you Nigerians will not shout, Europeans are evil and all that.

When major decisions are taken with VAR, yes, the VAR room was shown in this completion. Example was during Cameron match. The two decisions were shown completely.

There are incidents when the referee will refuse to accept a VAR call. Such times don't require showing the VAR room. So, why are u painting this race such a bad name?

Humans make mistake. He made mistake, so what is the big deal?
Nigerians just love to talk down at others. Rubbish.
To think that u even had likes beat my imagination.

You are insulting a race that has gone through European cheats over 100 years.
To people like u, if it is not like Europe, it is useless. This is common among Nigerians. That is why Nigerians are all over the world. They have super low self esteem and don't even believe in their ability to build their own country. They have lost hope in their own ability and will surely look for those to drag down.
All the points you raise here, I have countered them with facts. So, rest.

The referee in a Cork City v Shelbourne game in late 1998 admitted to blowing for full time early by mistake. Think it was the 86th or 87th. Just to give you one of several examples.

Don't take my word for it, make Google your friend bro. History is your best bet.

It's what it is.

Bro no mind them, asslickers and white worshippers, it's people like this if given a choice would turn down 100million naira and rather marry a 90yr old white woman or man, most nigerians are lost psychologically, emotionally and mentally, it irks and worries me just waking up eachday surrounded by a majority of mentally unavailable and slow individuals and realizing I'd be stuck with these peeps for a very long time
