I was at Ketu Busstop some almost 50+ years ago when someone starting yelling "ole, ole". Suddenly, some man was grabbed and begun to be beaten. I jumped in, as small as I was, telling everyone it was not true, and eventually, he was let go.

What had really happened and which no one saw was that the person who yelled "ole" was the ole, and only began shouting when his hand was caught in the pocket of the person he accused. And when he shouted ole, the members of the Ketu Busstop Pickpocket Association joined in to protect him.

That's what's happening here. The party of vote stealers are accusing the innocent of the crime they themselves could not yet away with.

That man, a teacher, paid my bus fare for that week, but we both had to avoid Ketu busstop for a while and walk to Ojota instead.

Arizona Republican State Representative Jake Hoffman made news this week when it was revealed he signed a forged "certification" falsely stating Donald Trump, not Joe Biden, won his state's Electoral College electors.

His defense: "in unprecedented times, unprecedented action does occur." He goes on to claim, "there is no case law, there is no precedent that exists as to whether or not an election that is currently being litigated in the courts has due standing."

He called the forged electoral documents "dueling opinions"....

There is no doubt that the innocent, patriotic crowd that went to the Capitol to "protest" the rigged 03/11/2020 presidential election were at some point infiltrated by arsonists and violent groups (most likely sponsored by democraps and their ilk in government circles). It was a trap and the crowd fell for it.

Initially, it wasn't crystal clear to all, but as the day goes by and more information about what transpired that day came to fore, Republicans got a handle of things and started walking back their previous positions/convictions based on the lie that the Fake News media peddled - I will do same if I were in their shoes.

My take on it based on all that I have seen, read and heard.

A federal grand jury in the District of Columbia returned an indictment yesterday, which was unsealed today, charging 11 defendants with seditious conspiracy and other charges for crimes related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, which disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress that was in the process of ascertaining and counting the electoral votes related to the presidential election.

According to court documents, Elmer Stewart Rhodes III, 56, of Granbury, Texas, who is the founder and leader of the Oath Keepers; and Edward Vallejo, 63, of Phoenix, Arizona, are being charged for the first time in connection with events leading up to and including Jan. 6. Rhodes was arrested this morning in Little Elm, Texas, and Vallejo was arrested this morning in Phoenix.

In addition to Rhodes and Vallejo, those named in the indictment include nine previously charged defendants: Thomas Caldwell, 67, of Berryville, Virginia; Joseph Hackett, 51, of Sarasota, Florida; Kenneth Harrelson, 41, of Titusville, Florida; Joshua James, 34, of Arab, Alabama; Kelly Meggs, 52, of Dunnellon, Florida; Roberto Minuta, 37, of Prosper, Texas; David Moerschel, 44, of Punta Gorda, Florida; Brian Ulrich, 44, of Guyton, Georgia and Jessica Watkins, 39, of Woodstock, Ohio. In addition to the earlier charges filed against them, they now face additional counts for seditious conspiracy and other offenses.

Nope! Anybody who is not ready to or incapable of abiding by the rules of a game should not partake in the game. Even Nairaland have rules everyone on the platform are expected to keep, failure which could lead to suspension. Footballers gets red carded when they breach rules of their game. Trump has shown he is incapable of abiding by rules of election,since in his deluded mind, he cannot lose election.

Until he acknowledges he lost 2020 election, he should not qualify to contest in any future election.

The one thing that has distinguished Trump - from other presidents (like Obama de o dumber), is that he doesn't like to chicken out, especially when he's got hard evidence that a crime has been committed.

Take for example, the Russian Hoax saga, the Ukrainian president's phone call saga, the stolen election of 2016 (Russian puppet) etc etc. Trump said all those were fabricated lies against him and his office. Over time, and with a little effort on his part (Special Counsel Durham), he's been proven right - all the time.

Why will his claim that the presidential election of 2020 was rigged be different?

What are the odds that he's lying and cannot be trusted? What has he got to lose? He's a wealthy man already - a septuagenarian who should be resting and enjoying his wealth.

There is an audit trail convincing enough for me to believe him. The election was rigged.

A Democrat won a US House seat this week with 79 percent of the vote. Her GOP opponent has not conceded.

An election in South Florida this week may serve as a marker for where the Republican Party stands in 2022, and how much American democracy has already changed since Donald Trump lost reelection.

The Democratic winner, Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, is interesting. She is a progressive who spent her own money to win and backs the concept of universal basic income. She also becomes the first Haitian-American woman in Congress to represent Florida.

She won 79 percent of the vote over Republican Jason Mariner, who was born in Boston and founded a drug and alcohol detox center in Florida. Mariner got less than 20 percent of the vote and trails Cherfilus-McCormick by over 32,000 votes. For context, Biden beat Trump statewide in Georgia by 11,000 votes.

“Now they called the race, I did not win, so they say, but that does not mean that they lost either, it does not mean that we lost,” Mariner was quoted by the Miami CBS affiliate as saying.

He said he will file a lawsuit. Election officials say it takes 14 days to certify the results. Mariner, then, has 10 days to challenge them.
That said, this week’s episode shows the Republican Party could be drifting toward a new norm of refusing to concede — even in landslides.

In Washington state, the Republican candidate for governor refused to concede, even though results showed he lost by over 500,000 votes. Of course, Trump reiterated this week in an interview with NPR that he still wants to talk about how he believes the 2020 election was stolen from him.
