But....but....Komekn, you condemned Awoniyi like two days ago.

Mujtahida is not wrong . You condemned Awoniyi to elevate Ighalo just two days ago, you called Awoniyi a pretender. You are only elevating Awoniyi higher than another present player, Sadiq. You have not elevated him over the absentees.

No come here dey try claim offense over that statement. It is very correct
No mind am. SE is never good in his eyes except Ighalo plays.

That's absolutely 100% true AT THAT TIME.

And I advised that he should stoop to conquer. Find a smaller team and league , develop and then progress. If he had stayed at Wolfsburg you will not be celebrating him today probably.

You omitted that constructive criticism.

Dembele chose Celtic over Chelsea because he did not think he would develop. Raheem chose QPR over Arsenal because he would not develop and get opportunity, Gnabry chose to drop to Bundesliga because he was not developing in the EPL, Jadon rejected City in favour of B.Dortmund.

The list is literally endless, so what is your point.
Your constructive criticism on sadiq and nwakali's performances n struggles is legendary.
And your objectivity as well

A Qualifier is not a major competition, brother. It is not even a tournament at all.
Then the stats are too stretched out to be very relevant.

This lineup isn't different from what Rohr has used in the past.. The only difference is a few names..It's still the same 44-2 /4-2-4/4-4-1-1.
But the big difference is that under Eguavon, we have been able to put it to good use, albeit in one game, but it was a delightful game of football.. We had a game plan and played with purpose. Under Rohr, we looked lost..
Now,Sudan is one of those minnows that Rohr team often struggle to beat.. We will see if Eguavon can do better here...It's a big test for him as much as the Egypt game..

Yes. He's doing well but nothing particularly spectacular the way you guys make it seem.

Do you watch Sadiq in Segunda?
I hear you. I don't really watch Sadiq.

Athleticism is different from Physicality.

Physicality in the context of football which is still a contact sport, is about strength, power, the ability to bully your opponent.

Athleticism makes reference to speed, pace , endurance and stamina as well as agility, which include in how high you can jump.

In terms of Brute strength Awoniyi is stronger however in terms of Aggression and fearlessness it's Victor O. this is a dangerous attribute he possesses, but its a two edged sword.

Which is better is open to never ending debate.

They are different players with different be attributesvsnd advantages. I would say Awoniyi is a late developer and he is growing in confidence, l believe and hope there is much more to come.

Athleticism is physicality because it can be developed through physical activity, take for instance speed, strength, stamina, power etc all these can be developed via physical training.

Athleticism is physicality and in these attributes mentioned inter alia Osimhen is more physical.

I don't know why you brought in aggression. Aggression is not even a physical quality. It is mental because it involves the feelings. We are talking about physicality.

In the context of football, aggression is desirable, and Osimhen is not more aggressive than Taiwo. Osimhen is developing more discipline to handle his aggression.

The Line up is here

Those not in 23-man Matchday Squad: Chidozie Awaziem (Injury), Peter Olayinka, John Noble and Jamilu Collins.
Not a bad lineup. You don't change a winning team. I'm very certain Chukwueze will have a very good game, it was a cagy one for him the last time.

Moses simon to score! Iheanacho to assist/ score
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 4:46pm On Jan 15, 2022
If we are close to being super clinical today, I see the entire frontline bagging at least one goal/assist direct involvement. Each of them.

From Simon to Nacho to Awo to Chukwueze.

It's been a while we saw Aribo score for us. I think he might bag today too. His tendency to attack the box could open up a few chances for him to hit his trademark curlers or strikes from the top of, outside or inside the box.

Let's just enjoy the game.

Na we dey here. cool

If he plays the same way he did against Egypt, he will be marked out of the game. He really needs to start coming in-field more against hugging the touchline.
