Nobody knows the equipment used to carve or construct the church or how long the construction took.

No one knows for sure if the Church of Saint George was completed in Lalibela’s lifetime, or if it was constructed after he died in an attempt to honor his legacy.

The cross-shaped stone church has been a popular site for Christian pilgrims since it was first constructed many centuries ago.

Lalibela’s sunken network of stone churches appear impossible to access to the untrained eye, but a keen observer will note that there is a small man-made entrance that grants access to the holy stone structures.

Countless Christian pilgrims dressed in white have flocked to the Church of Saint George to pray and express their commitment to their unwavering Christian faith.

Many years ago, st George church became UNESCO world heritage site.

May be those rocks were not as strong as they are right now in the olden days.. I also keep thinking of the equipment that those giant human beings used then and no Archeologist has uncovered any equipment used then. Atleast we supposed to have seen one bad equipment used then by now

The church of God is not the building.
The church of God are those who worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
The Holy Spirit of God does not dwell in the house built with hands, but dwells in the hearts of only those who worship Him in Truth and in Spirit.
Not in the houses of all the liars and their lies of false religion.

Any rebellion against the Truth is a rebellion against God.

John 8:44-45

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

There is a belief that Angels built the underground churches at Lalibela.

This is just awesome.

Why is this not among the Wonders of the World?

If the saving grace o f Christ wasn't considered as a wonder by the world then how would they consider a building named after him ?

They called perishable things wonder ,but refuse to acknowledge the wonderment of the eternal existence of their own souls

Lies this church is older than that , the date is far older if the truth be told Christianity would be in serious trouble, little did the world know that Jesus was nubian , the old paintings of christ dating thousands of years shows a darker skin and coilly hair , the white man has tricked us to believe their accounts are true and accurate , destroyed out artifacts depicting our history, but least they forgot we had writings and facts written in hidden or encrypted messages which stand till today

What's the significance of this cross sign we christians use? If the Romans had used a gun to kill Jesus, will the symbol of Christianity be a gun?

Just wondering

Jesus death would have made no spiritual meaning if He had died by gun or any other means. Every spiritual exercise has precise meanings.

2000 years before Jesus was born a prophesy was given by moses as a law to Israelites about people who died on a tree or (cross as it's also a standing tree)

Deuteronomy 21:23
"...you must not leave the body hanging on the pole overnight. Be sure to bury it that same day, because anyone who is hung on a pole is under God’s curse. You must not desecrate the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance..."

So the significance of Jesus dying on the cross is that He became a curse for us so that we (who are originally sinners) might have His blessings transferred to us as exchange.

Now after this death Paul declared in
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Where did Jesus blessing come from? Originally as the seed of Abraham. Jesus blessing comes from blessing bestowed on Abraham by Father God.
Galatians 3:13-14
13¶Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

The church is located in a mountainous region in the heart of Ethiopia, some 645 km from Addis Ababa, and what is interesting about the church, it was carved downward into a rock.

The church was carved from a type of limestone called tufa and the sole building material used in the structure.

It has been dated to the late 12th century AD, and thought to have been constructed during the reign of King Gebre Mesqel Lalibela, of the late Zagwe dynasty.

More to come from the prehistoric all white men... lololol.

So for over 900 years the story of religion had been wow I really had thought the brainwash was just some few years back.

The deep programming has been for long perhaps the reason why China hasn’t fallen for this shit of writing their language in alphabet but lines and strokes and curves, if the world like make them understand e no concern China.

Now to the church building. The precision tools for the construction can’t be figured out but the building still retains its shape for 900 years wow..

And morever was this church built against Saul that was attacking the Christians that year for their Bible, cause I don’t know why it was carved downwards in a rock.. that’s quizzical

If the tools used still remains a mystery then they can put passion into knowing the materials used in carving out this recent prehistoric building, and trace its parental background of all materials perhaps you could find answers to the mystery precision tools..

I need to know who started alphabets and numbers, numbers that has lead to measurement, cheating, money printing, disarray, killing jealousy and inequality

Big friend who installed all this lies without an iota of happiness or peace of mind in the lies

The reason why there is a process called burying is for reducing smell to its “bearest” minimum and for faster decomposition.

You can imagine moses prophecy to back up claims for suicidal cases, that whoever hangs on a tree is a curse.. big friend a statue is meant to be built for anyone who willing takes his or her life. Trust me Suicide is one of the abnormalities of the earth.

So for anyone who decides to do, deserves great honors as to a warrior who dies on the battlefield with his own sword.

Religion is the devil from the bottomless pit, filled with lies to back up on all abnormality claims

I dont understand your written English.
About burying to avoid smelling bodies. Israel can allow a dead body who died any other way to stay 5 days or even more. But not for those who dued on a tree. That is the difference here.

and religion is not the devil at least Christianity that preaches love and peace is better than anything sinners have to offer.

Sinners kill, do rutuals., sinners are rapists, armed robbers, murderers, liars, disobedient to parents, drug addicts, prostitutes and immoral, obscene and vulgar, hateful, reand vengeful, malicious, stingy, terrorists and the cause of every bad thing on this earth.

And you think these sinners are better than religious people. You are untruthful

That name is in the opening sentence.

Better still, I will reproduce it below and hope that you read it.

Explorers:
The church of St. George stands proud in a 25m by 25m wide pit that is carved out of solid volcanic rock.

The construction of the church involved excavating a free-standing block of stone out of the bed-rock and then removing all the waste material from around it.

The stone masons then carefully chiseled away the church outline, shaping both the exterior and interior of the building as they went (according to record).

They fashioned a simple yet exceptionally beautiful cruciform structure approximately 12m high.

The curves, shapes/lines are too precise, perfect and too accurate for diggers or chisel.

The tools, equipments used 900 years ago remains a mystery.
