If not,why has he not intervened in the crises rocking the APC since?

Tinubu and his followers showed their naivety by declaring for Presidency when Osinbajo is obviously the elephant in the room. I detest APC and EVERYONE in it but Tinubu's camp disrespected Osinbajo by ignoring him and thinking they can get a nod to stand at the front of the queue. Osinbajo is weak on his own BUT he has the entire state paraphernalia at his disposal and judging from how unaware Buhari is, he can use it now. Even if Osinbajo will not run, they should have waited for him to confirm his position but as Chief Sagacity is sagacious, he is running headlong into heartbreak. Buhari will NEVER support Tinubu

In a nutshell

Buhari is the husband. Nigeria presidency is the house
Osibanjo is the misbehaving wife trying to take the house after the husband is gone
Tinubu is the father of the wife also trying to lay claim to the house

Aside from the Buhari effect, Tinubu atrocities are too many. I am from Lagos and I can tell you that a lot of people are waiting on his downfall simply because the man has been sitting on the destiny of so many. He virtually seized Lagos State resources for himself and his family. Who in his/her right state of mind would even consider voting for such an individual as president. Expect to give oil blocks to his family members. The governor's in Lagos since left the seat were/are all figureheads.

Only one thing kills tinubu ambition and that is religion! Buhari has not only used northern slot, he has used Muslim slot.

No baggages, has integrity, takes firm decisions, loyalty not in doubt, good and verifiable educational background, loved in all Regions of Nigeria and has garnered a lot of experience as 'ordinary commissioner' number 2 Man.

But l also wish PDP will put forward an Igbo Presidential Candidate, to reward Igbo loyalty to the party, all these while. Having an Igbo on the Presidential ballot in 2023 is important for me.
Robbing Igbos and putting Atiku, a Northerner, again, should make Igbos abandon support for PDP in 2023 because it simply means Igbos are just being used and given second-fiddle ordinary Commissioner role. If PDP does not trust Igbos to be President, then they dont deserve Igbo Vote

It is a political game . The South West is trying to focus the attention of the nation on those 2 candidates. Soon Igbos will be torn between those two and forget about Igbo candidacy. Keep the northerners focused on who they think they can control ( ie Osinbanjo) until suddenly one will step down for the other when it would be too late for these cabals to realign with anyone else.

In my own opinion , Nigeria is not Lagos . We need pragmatic , straight and disciplined men to steer this country to greatness . The effrontery of Tinubu to quickly declare for President, is a ploy to kill Osinbajo's candidacy, even before it is announced.
Tinubu's calculation is that once he declares, Osinbajo's hand will be forced, even against his wish, to support him (Tinubu).

But what Tinubu is not taking into consideration, due to his inordinate ambition, is the WILL OF NIGERIANS!
Nigerians prefer Osinbajo and the fact that he has maintained a graceful demeanour (unlike the aggressive Tinubu), has even added to his appeal and presented Tinubu as a classless usurper and aggressive opportunist.
