My first choice is Engr. Dave Umahi. His work will speak for him. However, if he is not fielded I would hope to have Osibanjo on the ballot. Kaiser20: |

There's something that a lot of people don't understand. The Northerners would prefer someone like Oshibajo for the simple reason that they have already passed a law in the National Assembly that once you hold a position of the VP for instance, you can only serve one term and guess what, come 2027 round the corner, the fool-anis will queue up to take over once more. Welcome to the real Games of Throne. |

I am happy that osibanjo has been able to disassociate himself from the criminal gang of Tinubu. Maybe there is hope for Nigeria moving forward rationally. |

sammyNardo:Fulanis' irrationality and backwardness will be history if a man with an atom of common sense will run Nigeria for a few months. It's a case of light over darkness. Tinubu is a core agent of darkness, while osibanjo may still have a bit of morality and rationality in him that can turn Nigeria back from the path of self-destruction. |

Honor10:Tribalism is the cause of the failure of Nigeria. And if you people continue basing your support, thinking and actions. on tribe, then you'll never have a successful country, you'll only have a bunch of ancient, ignorant tribesmen pretending to be a country. |

OSIBANJO should continue. There are some good foundation Buhari laid, Osibanjo wil build on it. Tinubu wil enrich all his loses and leave uncompleted projected. He wud be blame past leadership. Osibanjo wont blame anybody |

Jack005:A Babatunde Raji Fashola / Mohammed Buba Marwa or Babatunde Raji Fashola / Babagana Umar Zulum ticket, would do Nigeria the most good. I prefer the Fashola / Marwa ticket, not just for the super efficiencies of the duo, even Zulum, as well as their very less tendencies and interest in unnecessary politicking...but for Marwa to bring his sound military background along to assist Fashola, giving the proliferation of banditry, kidnapping and other security threats. Just check out what is going on around NDLEA and you will have an insight as to what the man, Marwa, can bring to the table. As for Fashola, he most certainly will receive the most accolades, after Buhari, for the massive rehabilitation and construction of critical infrastructures in the country. From the Second Niger Bridge, Bonny-Bodo Bridge, Calabar-Cameroun Bridge / Highway, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonshoki Expressway....etc. And importantly, key infrastructure driving initiatives such as the Sukuk and Presidential Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme etc. I see Osinbajo as well fit also, but not tough enough for the top job. I see him running to Daddy GO for prayers when things get seeming overwhelming. We don't need that. Another kind of Jonathan presidency won't be good for Nigeria. A president whose name doesn't elicit or instil any 'fear'. That's a no no for me. Everyone feels cool around him. Come to the South-south and see how previously abandoned NDDC projects are being completed because Buhari was going to probe NDDC. Fashola would prioritize the common good, and would not mortgage Nigerians in the guise of political loyalty. We need someone without any tangible religious emphasis around him. No developed country achieved what they achieved through Christianity or Islam. We need someone who would get the job done, and promote national values through moral reorientation, not strange, inconsistent practices. |

CoolAmbience:Salient points you stated bro.. My friend works with the ndlea and he told me how marwa transformed the ndlea within a very short period of time.. It's so surprising that mOst Nigerians are not calling for such, maybe because he isn't that popular like Tinubu and the rest.. As for Mr fashola, he has also done a good job especially given the scarce resources... But this two individuals have not indicated interest just like osibanjo..Well, let's see what await us. |

smallsmall:Well put. If push comes to shove, and depending on who PDP fields, Osinbajo MAY yet be the lesser evil as painful as this sounds. But you cannot sell us a dud then foolishly present yourself as a replacement for that dud. |
| Re: Osinbajo Growing Campaign: Tinubu Camp Fumes Over Buhari’s Silence by emmykk(m): 6:28pm On Jan 16, 2022 |
LasgidyPort:The president will push someone like Goodluck Jonathan so that the north will get back to power in 2027 ,plus settle that cry that power should come to the south. OR someone from North East to water down the overwhelming support Atiku PDP will get from that region and the full north. 2023 is the Best year for Atiku to be president but president buhari will do a lot to quench that ambition to ensure it doesn't work A North East APC candidate option will favour buhari most ,it will divide Atiku vote in that region and in the north, settle that region presidency cry. The south west will last last present only 1 between Tinubu and Osinbajo and the Buhari group will present it northern choice and this will defeat Tinubu or osinbajo in APC primaries. Buhari will not openly support any candidate yet underground his choice will triumph in the primary and in the main election. |

emmykk:So who is of note from the NE that can win the presidency? Such a candidate will need the support of the South (especially the SW) to have any chance of wining, if contesting against an Atiku who will clear the votes in the SE, SS, NE and record good showing in the NW and NC. |

The way many support groups are rooting for this Osinbajo man is scary. They must have seen some qualities in him. I hope providence will be nice to him ahead of 2023. He still remains our best candidate, I just hope Tinubu realizes this before it's too late |

emmykk:Boss Mustapha is not seasoned enough. Even for a VP position. Ordinary Zulum that is a first term governor will excite electorates better than Boss Mustapha. Boss Mustapha is also a christian and cannot command the votes of the NW. No APC governor in the NE is exceptionally popular and widely acceptable. This your template cannot work, it will make the election a walk in the park for Atiku. APC strategists are smarter than to give Atiku an easy run. |
