Opinion: Why It Will Be Difficult For Tinubu To Become Nigeria President. by SEYIKP(op):
This is Nigeria where tribal and religious sentiments are greatly heightened above competence in electing representatives into every political position.
And mind you, this is not 1993, when a Yoruba man by the name, Bashorun Moshod Kashimawo Abiola, a Muslim from the South Western part of Nigeria, and a Kanuri Muslim man from the North Eastern part of the country, by the name, Babagana Kingibe as the VP. Under the auspices of Social Democratic Party (SDP).

In Nigeria of today, the politicians have succeeded in dividing Nigerians along ethnic, tribal and religion lines.
They continue to emphasize, what divide us, than what bring us together.
And with the fact that the bulk of votes that will bring a presidential candidate into power in today's Nigeria will come from; North West and North Eastern part of Nigeria, wether rigged or not.
And these two region are where political power reside in today's Nigeria, especially the North West.
Demographically, the people from these part of the country are predominantly Muslims.
What that means is that, it is either they produce the President or the VP.
Let us assume that Tinubu wins its party presidential ticket(APC), where will his VP comes from? The only viable option will be a Christian from the North Central(middle belt) or a Southern Kaduna Christian, how that will be possible I don't know, with the fact that the the Core North only uses the North Central as a pawn when it comes to power sharing, they are remembered as the middle belt and not North Central.
Another option is to pick a Muslim VP from the Core North. How such ticket will fly in the South South, South East and among the Yoruba Christians, I can't tell.Only time will tell.

Gibberish, jargons, bunkum and balderdash!

Seems you have forgotten Tinubu’s political empire and dynasty. That dude is an Albert Einstein of Nigerian politics!

You will be shocked where is coming from. His political prowess is next to none. If one can categorically say, “Their is none like him”

Bola Tinubu may not need to spend much on publicity.

The publicity is being carried out by opposition. This week alone I can count up to 100 converts . Nairaland should send Bill to BAT Campaign(vice-versa), because out of five threads that make it to front page, Bola Tinubu's name must appear in two

Seems you are forgotten so soon. This was the same man that stood to the face of a PDP FG as a governor. His has moved and re-moved powers from AD to AC, to APC.

Hello BAT’s political dynamics is strong and rigid. Even those who claim to be against him at the moment, have once bowed to him before.

You forgot how he booted GEJ out of Lagos with the whole FG and OPC might.

Give it to that guy! He is a rare political GEM.

None can be compared to his political prowess. He has a working structure and die hard loyalists

Seeing people writing long epistle to market Tinubu to Nigerians is shockingly disappointing and irritating

Someone who worked to bring Buhari's regime into power and wanting to take over from him just not because he wants to make Nigeria better but because it was his dream to be president

Nigerians tends to be too forgetful of events or maybe we love to suffer

Where is the credility?

Where are the qualities?

Where is the passion to lead?

The worst is that graduates will prefer to vote someone who's academic qualifications are contestible is mind-boggling and ludicrous

Perhaps we are not tired of someone telling us that farming is better than going to school on national TV or that cow business is more lucrative than crude oil
