That will likely be his best option, because
1. South South ticket will never fly, the Northern will say they have been sidelined and will never vote for an SS ticket. PDP will leverage on this, present a northerner as their flag bearer, of course the South East, North, South South and half the South West will go with the PDP.
2. Muslim Muslim ticket will also not work as the Christians will never agree, already the South East, South South and a large number of the South West will decline, we haven't even added the good number of northern Christians.
So Dogara will be the best choice for now.

If Nigeria was running a regional/confederate system, the yoruba people will never elect someone like Tinubu to govern their region... Not when they have the likes of Adesina and other technocrats. But they want to force this old power hungry fool down the throat of the rest of the country because he's popular... Buhari was popular ended up a disaster. Tinubu will end up more disastrous... In the end, Nigeria will be ruled by a cabal again while Tinubu globetrottes to treat one sickness or the other. I thought the man would stand behind a more energetic and smart individual to run for the position... But I see he's just power hungry like the rest clowns that have ruled this country.

It is high time south south Nigeria agitates to break away from this cursed contraption. Tinubu must thread carefully if he wants to really gain ground in the forthcoming election.
I wish he make mistakes that would be of disadvantage to him.
1)Muslim-Muslim Ticket is a no go area for him, if he tries it he loses..
2)A Southern VP won't work, would have adviced him to pick someone from south east but that would mean assured defeat..

The best option for him is to run with a Christian from the north. Though we don't have really strong Christian politicians from that region but Yakubo Dogara is a Christian and he's a strong force too. That's his best option..
But I see Osinbajo\El Rufai duo as a stiff competition within the APC caucus..
