Yes

Yes

Exactly this

When we won AFCON did we become number one in Africa? When Zambia won AFCON, did they become number one in Africa?

They were on a one year unbeaten run and 4th in Africa going into the tournament, I think winning the group stage matches coupled with the tournament and the loss of the other rivals was enough to propel them to first even if not during the tournament atleast shortly after

I am loving the attendance and vuvuzela noises at these AFCON games. If it was Egypt, it would've been a deafening silence.

We are likely meeting 3rd placed team in group F.

Best looser to come from A, B, E and F.

A regular player at the best league in the world sitting on the bench

I just hope he start the last game

Me, i don't care who gets benched for him right now, he needs to start vs Bissau. He's the most in form player prior to Camp. I don't even see media rave around him. Abi is he injured?

On penalties..
You do realize that a game lost on penalty shoot out doesn't count as a lose? I'm very sure you don't know..

You go about recording gaffes of the year, but the thread is littered with many false information from your end including your nonsensical "unpopular opinion"....

I won't go low to talk about stupid opinions on this thread but they would speak for themselves, my point is there is no reason for Algeria to 3rd in Africa after a 38 match unbeaten run that has dwarfed every African countries result over the past 4 years, Ciao

No way is that a red. As a striker when a keeper spills the ball you go for it.

Ayew has very right to try to slot the ball past the keeper and the way he tries to do that is not in any way dangerous.
This was in response to Aina's foul

Ghana 2-3 Comoros

Ghana crash out of the AFCON

On the other end, Comoros on 3 points still have a shout for that Best 3rd position.

They will be hoping for Algeria's loss

No past history says no.

Remember world cup 2014.

Uchebo, Oshinowo, R. Gabriel
( had not played 200 minutes of football) , A. Egwuekwe, Kunle O., Ejike Uzoenyi, where all selected above proven and by tested players. Where are these player's today or did they ever progress.

Meanwhile Obagoal, Sone Aluko, Shittu, Ignored and left behind.

Frank Onyeka proven and tested in the best league in the world has already been ignored put to one side over somebody preference project player from the lowly Segundo division.

But honestly , how these severe wackos including Uche Nwofor made the team-list to the 2014 World Cup should be studied...

Everton is looking to interview Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard for the managerial role

Who would you guys recommend with Iwobi in mind?

Forget Legend o, Things have changed at Everton since Rooney left there. Lamps will make the team good with Richie being his kind of player, but improving Iwobi? I doubt.

So inasmuch both dont seem like they'll help Iwobi, I'll take Rooney. More level headed.

Italy went on a 37 match unbeaten run winning the euros during the way but has it ever occured to you that on no occasion during this unbeaten run were they ranked 1st. Besides you said unbeaten run not winning run.if we look at it sef. The draw to win ratio there might even be equal

The beauty of AFCON is that it is no respecter of salaries

Nobody sabi who be world best for AFCON

This is what makes it one of the greatest tournaments in world football for me; the unpredictability of it all.

This is not Euros that everyone knows which teams will qualify from group stage, it is not Copa America that you know Brazil and Argentina don sure

If you know how many tickets don cut since this tournament start, more people will respect this AFCON.

A proper leveler

They had no losses and wins against higher opponents like Senegal over a 4 year period shouldn't that tell you it should be reflected in their position, you still have not told me Morocco's result that warranted them second place lol
