mapet:What does "the Lagos leadership in all facets..." entail? What architecturing did tinubu carry out in that regard? Pls bear in mind that your question "Who is the architect?" was linked to your comment that "Tinubu responsible for the progress of Lagos." So how is Tinubu responsible for d progress of Lagos or how is d architect behind d progress of Lagos? |

Good job to Governor Sanwo-Olu on this Meanwhile, my Igbo brothers in the yeastern potopoto republic of Nigeria will always be blaming Buhari and Tinubu everyday but can't hold their corrupt Governors for incompetence and failing to embark on some fantastic social economic developmental projects like these in their states |

chaseblack:The reason: A democratic party governor signed the deal, but when a Republican governor succeeded, the deal was cancelled and the company sued the state. The state later paid USD 50 million as damages and still lost the trades |

mikezuruki:The Lagos Rail system is an infrastructure project enshrined in the Lagos State Development Plan (LSDP) which is being managed by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA). The railway equipment including electric power, signalling, rolling stock, and fare collection equipment will be provided by the private sector under a Concession Contract. LAMATA is responsible for policy direction, regulation, and infrastructure for the network. The section of the network, Phase of the project are both Red and Blue Line which is currently attained almost 100% completion while Phase I (the Blue Line to run from Marina to Mile 2) was initially planned to open in 2021. However, the State Government recently announces that the Blue and Red Lines will open in December 2022. Contrary to insinuation that Lagos Rail project will run on Federal government rail track is not correct. New rail platform is nearly completed for the take off of the lagos Rail project. |

High-speed rail U.S. The United States has zero. The fastest rail system in the U.S. is the Amtrak Acela Express along the Northeast Corridor (NEC), with speeds of up to 150 miles per hour but with averages around 66 mph. ... Japan is home to the first high-speed system, known as Shinkansen, or "bullet train," which began in 1964.

Tennessee85:Oga the project is going nowhere so stop deceiving yourself, if the project was going somewhere it will be cheaper and more efficient to use Chinese coaches ..road and rail are not the same oga ..Rails work with Gauges and it's better to have a track built for a train than search for a train to fit a track ...meanwhile your APC govt has bought trains for this same project in 2011 so please where are they ? You people keep deceiving yourself ![]()

Our brothers from that side will not be happy with this because they believe Tinubu ( who has never served as a minister or president) stole their generational money to develop Lagos state. Lagos state leads while other states follow. We have only 2 states in Nigeria 1. Lagos and 2. Others including Abuja argue it with your last strength. |
