Based on trending stories I have realized most single ladies of today are not in touch with reality at all. They think marriage is a bed of roses where they will be enjoying and chopping life 24/7 Mon- Sun ���

Who is feeding them these ideas��

Social media? Abi Hollywood movies?

Life is full of ups & downs, series of challenges. There is no 24/7 enjoyment anywhere, do not deceive yourself. Heaven is the only place where you have 24/7 enjoyment, as long as you're here on Earth you'll have series of challenges. Whether you marry a rich or poor man, there will always be challenges. Therefore if you can't endure with a man & weather the storm together then remain in your father's house. Marriage is not meant for you.

Actually most women still see men as their ultimate messiah. I'm only stating the present realities in today's society. Only very few women are different.

I might not move in the society you move in I suppose, so might be seeing a different reality to the one you see. Most women in the society I move in are very strong self achieving women. Even the married ones.

So a woman should endure difficulties like assault from the other side.. maltreatment..anger and nonsense attitude in marriage cos of what ?love or what?

If you ain't comfortable in it get out as soon as possible..don't let no one sit at his home behind his little phone giving out wrong advice..what kinda mentality is that?

Marriage ain't a do or die affair..you don't take care of your partner and you expect the marriage to work! You want her to suffer in the marriage just to please you or what?
No one love discomfort aiit..only a blockhead will marry a woman and expect her to stay in it even tho you ain't doing the right thing ..

Except you are talking about building a family and life together..but if you talking about enduring all then there is a limit for that..

Fallacies based on false assumptions. You're looking at them from afar thinking you know their personal lives. FYI no matter how successful a woman is, a man was instrumental to her success & they still depend on their men for one thing or the other. So please cut me the slack of having "independent" women in your society. In Nigeria there are no such things as "independent women" they are leeches and parasites masquerading as "independent women." As a lawyer I'm talking based on data and analysis. I have seen thousands of divorce cases in the last one year inwhich the major root cause are unrealistic expectations on the side of women. And I mean women from all classes of the society (poor, average, rich). We just need them to be REALISTIC with marriages as it is not a bed of roses.
