There is a particular son of Abiola who was always talking good about Tinubu when Tinubu was a governor and after he left office. You know it is a polygamous family. Tinubu cannot be good to all of them.

When Abiola was arrested, the struggle to reclaim the mandate was led by Late Senator Abraham Adesanya. Tinubu was a major financier of that struggle. Late Chief Deinde Fernandez supported them at a time.

It was Tinubu that facilitated meeting between them and Abiola at Abiola's hideout in VI when he returned from London. There are so many other things. This is not my story but records of people who were active in the struggle. They came out immediately after that interview to dispute it as false and imaginations. I believed if Late Kudirat Abiola were to be alive, she would have disputed it also.

Was it Abiola or Abacha that informed Kola Abiola that Tinubu lobbied Abacha to be appointed Governor , when it failed Deputy governor and later commissioner? Several people wrote against it. After Abacha removed Otedola and all civilian governors elected under IBB, that truncated the Democratic processes began by IBB and destroyed all the Democratic Institutions put in place by IBB including the National Assembly. Tinubu as a member of the parliament destroyed by Abacha cannot come again to lobby to be made a civilian governor under Abacha, then later lobby for Deputy Governor and then Commissioner. If Kola Abiola had said Tinubu lobbied for Ministerial appointment but failed, perhaps it would have made sense. He mentioned late Ademola Adeniji Adele as being with Tinubu during the struggle. Ademola Adeniji Adele was incarcerated while Tinubu escaped abroad. From Abroad, he continued the struggle.

This had been explained severally by different people and I think Kola Abiola would have thought about it.

I am not on the side of election. Without restructuring there is no solution . I am only surprised why a candidate ambition will attract so much attention in a country of over 200 million people. So much hatred. So much jittery.

When he was the major financier of NADECO and later a political party - Alliance for Democracy they said he was a drug baron , When he founded ACN and supported APC they are saying he embezzled Lagos money. On social media, all opposition and discussion about 2023 revolves around him. Why?
