The almajiri system has effectively created a wider gap between the rich and poor. Religion has been used as a veritable weapon to afflict the poor. Looting and embezzling have thrived without fear.

By now should we be talking of power shift or retention? A nation with so much potentials, yet wallows in abject poverty. Should we not be talking of a great leader, irrespective of geographical divide, who should get us all to achieve a better nation?
