Travelling is an issue now in Nigeria. The terrorists called bandits are doing as they wise. Nothing from the government other than reassuring us of improve security.

APC pass gambling

They are gathering intelligence at the moment.. its not yet time to act all we need to do is wait for another two weeks before they can conclude investigation and get back to us

The criminal trend will continue to fluorish as I am yet to hear of any captured bandit especially from the North prosecuted, jailed or executed in this country.
A Governor once bemoaned the alarming situation of releasing arrested bandits by the same police

I do pass the road at least twice a week (Mondays and Fridays) after I abandoned Ibadan- IjebuOde road because of these same bandits. In fear of being kidnapped, I am always between 130-160km/h. Yesterday immediately I joined the expressway from Ogere, I got to Ibadan toll gate in just 15mins. I prefer to over speed than being kidnapped or shot by one useless animal that has no value for life.

According to one Yoruba godfather vying for presidency, Fulani bandits and Yorubas are siblings. Its a family issue. grin
Modified:
But on a serious note truth be told, the Yorubas' mistake was an open embrace of Islam. Embracing Islam is a direct invitation of their extremists wing to infiltrate your population. The yorubas are gonna suffer in the hands of Islamic extremism for a very long time. Fact!

Sadly,we've attained that critical mass, where kidnappings would be taking place within 100ks of Lagos State.
Travellers-those kidnapped - have now turned helpless captives. This just goes to show the insidious collapse of the Nigerian state and a pulverisation of the structures of state.
One is tempted to ask: where is the might of the state?

You will continue experiencing kidnappings because your government don't care. Instead of you people to hold your government officials accountable, many of you stay here on Nairaland fighting over whose tribe is more superior while fulani herdsmen AKA bandits AKA terrorist continue to kidnap and kill you people and sell your organs to the highest bidder. SMH.
Leave them.. Maybe na online government go answer them.. They want to increase fuel price soon,Nigerians relax like say nothing dey happen.(Suffering and smiling) .As soon as fuel add, rent go add, food price go add, everything will add. Later them go come online ,saying things are now very expensive.. Meanwhile if person try challenge the useless government, them go call am opposition (PDP) ... Funny Nigerians grin
