temmyyem:The unbelievable thing is that both the kidnappers and the kidnapped are both citizens of this country, even some of the kidnappers may be commenting on this particular post now. These evil people are among us and most times they are our close friends/neighbours or better still, we know them pretending as if... But we join the normal people to cry foul whenever they strike. Na we dey do ourselves |

Who is carrying out this dastardly act? Are the the "developers" that dont respect their host? That pay for shops and buy land to build? Is it the cow headers in the Bushes, that destroy farms by eating crops, stomping on them. But on the other hand provide beneficial manure through cow and human shit. But no, it must be the developers and not the manure producers! As someone famously asked, WHERE ARE THE COWS! Another Lai, lie minister said they are businessmen doing their business. That are not terrorist as they believe in one nigeria. Another minister said they are Nigerians and the constitution mandates they stay in any bush, land and farm in Nigeria. |

Sunday igboho saw this coming. But my fellow Yorubas were mocking him. I hope those fulanis interview the victim if they support buhari ? Before kidnapping them. I know some of the kidnap victims would have mocked or attack Sunday igboho. It shocking how illiterates like Sunday igboho can be more visionary than educated ones. 5 Likes |

To all who crow with delight because in their little minds only people from "other" tribes than their own are potential victims of terrorist kidnappers along the Lagos to Ibadan Expressway, note that people of ALL tribes and ALL nationalities travel that vital road link between Nigeria's war-torn north and her increasingly restive south. Politics and tribal bigotry aside, the root cause of increasing terror activities in West Africa is DESERTIFICATION that is gradually forcing previously peaceful tribes of nomadic cattle rearers to become bloodthirsty kidnappers and crop-destroying invaders swarming southern Nigeria's agricultural heartland. This perilous situation is not going to get better, just as climate change is not going to reverse its calamitous course. To the tribal rabble-rousers who remain fixated on differences that separate Nigeria's southern cultures and demographic classifications, just be aware that the festering violence being witnessed is much greater in scope and consequence than anything currently preoccupying small minds. |

I THINK THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS THAT THE TERORISTS IN THE NORTH ARE GRADUALLY PUSHING TOWARD THE SOUTH WEST, SOUTH SOUTH AND SOUTH EAST FOREST AFTER THE NORTH REFUSAL TO ADOPT REGIONAL STATE POLICE. ALSO IM THINKING THEY IS AN AGENDA BY CERTAIN, TRIBES, LEGION, RELIGION TO INTIMIDATE THE OTHER FAITHS AND RURAL OVER THEM. LAST YEAR THE TERRIOTS CLAIM THEY HAVE ACQUIRED MILITARY HARDWARE NOW WE CAN SEE IT IS TRUTH THEY ARE USING IT TO KIDNAP OUR PEOPLE AND TO RAISE MONEY TO FIGHT FOR THEIR AGENDA. OUR MILITARY SHOULD RISE UP TO THIS AND CRUSH ALL THEIR AGENDA AND SPONSORS BEFORE THINGS GET WORSEN. THE HATRED IN THIS COUNTRY IS SOMETHING UNIMAGINABLE IN THE WORLD AFTER KILLING OUR SELVES DURING UNFORTUNATE SO CALLED BLOODY CIVIL WAR OUR COUNTRY NIGERIA IS STILL WITHOUT PEACE. |

We actually warned them but they never listened. They chose to play politics with their lives and destiny, even one of their own that took a bold move was betrayed, abandoned and left to die in a foreign cell. Now that the chicken has come home to roost, I wonder what will save them. They're even busy supporting an old ex drug lord who sees nothing wrong in the budding anarchy and gross insecurity. Imagine asking for 30 million ransom on one person?? What about many others that went unreported?? |

Jakumo: Continue deceiving yourself, ostrich. Over 90% of those traveling between Lagos and Ibadan are yorubas. The Northerners and those from Niger mostly travel on Dangote trailers or those lorries bringing cattle and foodstuff, those ones are not targeted by kidnappers rather they target those on private cars and commercial buses! So desertification is what is bringing anarchy into SW? Are you even listening to yourself? If these people are economic migrants running away in order to survive, they would have become Mai ruwa, Mai guard, okada riders, shoe menders, foodstuff sellers just like some of their brothers but no, they chose a multi billion naira industry called kidnapping while also pushing their agenda alongside. I really pity you guys. |
