The birthing of Enugu State’s world-class healthcare facilities…

Update on the ongoing massive projects at the permanent site of ESUT Teaching Hospital and College of Medicine, Igbo Eno, Enugu State, initiated and being executed by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s administration.

This is to provide quality and affordable healthcare services to all residents of Enugu State, as well as make the state a choice destination for healthcare tourism, despite the nation’s economic challenges as well as the state’s lean resources.

The health facilities made up of two sections of a Teaching Hospital, seating on two floors (the outpatient department of seven sections and in-patient department with 200-bed wards); a College of Medicine comprising 2 units of 12 classroom blocks, 2 units of 10 classroom blocks, 2 units of 8 classroom blocks and 2 units of 208 student-capacity hostel; and provision for the construction of a helicopter landing pad (helipad) reserved for hospital emergency operations, were adjudged as “simply unbelievable” and in line with World Health Organization (WHO) standard, by the Management of University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu, during their recent validation visit to the site.

This is a welcome development..

But please enugu state should carry ndi isi uzo and ndi mbu in particular along in their infrastructural developments..

As we speak there is no state infrastructure in mbu...

The last time I went there for occasion they place seriously need urgent intervention..

You are right. Isi-Uzo is seriously lacking in infrastructure. I wish Mr. Governor can tar Eha-Alumona ring that connects Mbu to Nsukka town. It will help to expose Isi Ụzọ more for investment.

When convicted for such crimes...The gates open wide.
Unless School system helps you now evade justice...The gates close.

The building is a wide opportunity to embezzle money, how much is the governor's cut?

Big gov't will not be the death of Nigerians. I pray for all of you that one day y'all will receive sense and see what gov't really is when those in authority actually work for you. When that happens mediocrity and the defence/celebration of it will be far from y'all.

Some private primary schools looks better than the structures am seeing here.
One thing I have noticed about the present administration in Enugu, is their penchant for inferior infrastructures.

During Chime's administration, this should be a primary school block.

If you go through school, great schools o,not glorified miracle centres where they write exams for you, and you are taught by great mentors and you truly allow the school to go through you, sir, you won't type what you just typed up there sir

If you have 'gone' to school and still turned out to be a person who keep making horrible decisions, you went to school for leisure and not for knowledge. Being educated in the true meaning means value of knowledge has been added to you and you are under obligation to use the value added to you positively. If you don't, you are not educated in the true sense of going to school.

That's why I always counsel folks to go to great schools,meet great mentors and study very hard to finish with great grades. Those experiences that cost you a lot are worth showcasing, defending and guiding jealously in all you do after leaving school because the school remains in you for life
