Look before you leap and show your prejudice.

Salisu is a 22 year old Central defender with Southampton not a Midfielder.

I expect him to be on the wanted list of every top EPL club if he continues.

Salisu is a good player ,but I think you are trying to create an agenda with this your sudden notice about him

Some epl lovers here have talked about Salisu at one point ,but suddenly it seems this is the first time you are hearing about Salisu grin

Man to man on paper we are not comprehensively better than them.

The one area we are arguably better is in the goalkeeper department.

Apart from that everything else is up for debate.

We are better than them man to man and on paper

Stop creating agenda when there is none ,even a blind man knows we are better than the Ghanaians man to man and on paper

Ghana is like Arsenal and Tottenham although Arsenal may have the upper hand , anything could happen.

Ghana will never be easy to beat we must come highly prepared. Ghana at the moment is a wounded Lion, very dangerous.

They will have Salisu in defence, yesterday he was not just outstanding but AMAZING against Manchester city yesterday.

This your sudden talk about Salisu

I guess epl teams don’t score against Southampton because of Salisu

on paper, we are better than Ghana in every department. What do you mean by it's only Goalkeeper department we are better than them? Osimhen, Simon, Dennis, Chukwueze, Onauchu, Ighalo against a washed up Ayew brothers. Look at our midfield with Ndidi, Aribo, Iwobi, Onyeka, Etebo and Adebola grin. Don't trigger me sir!

Come to Lekki even Ikeja I've met some that can't even speak Pidgin.

I met a few at university in England that left Nigeria but couldn't speak any Nigerian language.

However, you use the word man they are mostly youths .

Those are definitely kids and teenagers of this generation. I am talking about full grown men born in the 90s and beyond.

One of my friends and his wife are Yorubas but based outside of the SW. His children are learning Yoruba from the little my own kids understand from my wife that is Yoruba grin

Ha! Safari, how can you forget Ike Shorunmi so quickly? He was the Super Eagles coach after Peter Rufia. And he has also been the SE goalkeeping coach on a few occasions.

We are better than the Ghanaians, both on paper, man to man, and collectively as a Team.

Their captain, Andre Ayew will even be missing due to the Red card he collected against the Comoros.

Yes, I know they will come out fighting but I trust Eguavoen, who understands the rivalry between the two teams, to fire the boys up. If the Ghanaian players are ready to die on the pitch, our boys should be ready to bury them.

I have begin to think that this guy have strong political backing

We may end up loosing this AFCON and not making much progress in football if our politicians begin to bring in sentiments as to who should play and sit on the bench

Many a time u come here to hype opposing teams analysing trash I know u were up to something

You're not a super eagle fan all u want is to see your innit boys get call ups and use the SE promote their failing football career

You Need to grow balls and spew out the truth on why you often come here

See the foolly you spew up there now even Ghana FA officials won't say that

So GHANA has a better strike force and midfield to us You need to start talking sense

I wish I can see you face to face now

Why is the coach keen on playing him

Every time we hear Equeavon talk about him, how he didn't play to instructions bla bla

Is it a must he plays him if he does not fit play other players that fit in. The scenario is playing out like the coach is hell bent on playing him

what do you mean? If he’s a southerner would you even say this? You are an ethnic jingoist, just admit it . you are the same person always championing the ‘Shehu in the eagles because he’s a northerner’ agenda.
So you mean as a coach he’s not supposed to fire up an underperforming player? You can’t even hide your ethnic agenda. Mtcheew

I have no issues with a southerner or a northerner in the team

But when the Coach is hell bent on playing a non performing player it annoys me

Prior the afcon Sadiq was the player I tipped to cause an uprise and steal the show but so far he hasn't done so.... So I no need to keep hellbent on playing him

For your information I am not an ethnic bigot I will agree if you call me an impatient person. I am not a patient person...I believe if something is not working u move to the next asap

What’s wrong in playing umar sadiq from the bench ?

Did the coach tell you he will be starting him ?

Because he missed some chances against guinea Bissau means he should not play for the eagles anymore ,me I still don’t understand how you watch your own football ooo

You are never satisfied about anything and you must connect everything to political backing just because the guy is from the north (maybe)

He is the only striker on the bench and yes he should play ,the guy is not a bad player ,not that he missed an empty net

Ighalo has missed chances and rohr believed in him ,I am sure you didn’t say ighalo have any political backing

Baba the attention on him is too much
He has not really played to my expectations

So I just move on to Taiwo that have woow me and even Yinka that I so much know his potentials

Sadiq was some one I expect much from but with what I have seen will so angry if Taiwo is benched for him.... I know how sentiments have gone thrive in Nigeri a political and other sectors lately so it will be disastrous if same happens in sports

I am just assuming though and same time scared

Try to Dey stay one place ,he is better than onuachu and deserves to be in the team ,now he is in the team you are relating it to political backing

I have had similiar stance with players from the south too in that regard

In every set up there exist politics even in companies it is left for the actors to play it to their advantage sha
