See him mouth like settle.

It is interesting and vital to note here that the PDP which many of us still proudly support and adore was in power for 16 solid years and in those years there were 4 Presidential Inaugurations and on none of those was an Igbo man found worthy by the PDP of even Vice Presidency and we are still bold to say it is the APC that has not even finished one and a half tenure that doesn't want to give power to Igbos. Odi nma.

NOW; Seriously, let's be sincere. As things stand today politically, why would the APC even hand power to us Igbos in 2023?
On what grounds?
On what records?
On what politics?
is power given to anyone?
is it an appeasement or a gift?

The APC is a political party. The main focus of a political Party is to hold power and keep it to enable it deliver on its agenda. So if the APC reads that the SE does not want the Presidency or does not have the capacity to help them win and keep power, they will stick with the regions that can and work with individuals who are interested.
We are not talking about grilling vultures here.

For peace to reign they tinkered with the law and allowed AD to be registered so that the Southwest healing process can be completed since they had adopted the AD as their own political party.

But some leaders of this same Southwest today are not willing to make a single sacrifice towards the healing of a section of this country that is bleeding. They now want everything for themselves. The rest of Nigerians can go and die.

2023 is the only chance Nigerians have to bury the ghost of the civil war by ensuring that equity and fairness guides the political parties into choosing Igbo men as Presidential flagbearers.

If Tinubu and Osinbajo love this country, they should choose its corporate existence over their ill guided ambitions.

The Southwest was settled in 1999. The Southeast should be settled in 2023.
Power isn't dished out a-la-carte, my friend. It is up to the Southeast to build bridges and alliances with other zones to attain the power they crave so desperately. And to be honest, no Igbo politician alive today has done even a scintilla of that.

This one is still playing party politics.

But presidency was handed to the south west in 1999, why can't the same be done for the south east in 2023.

@ Penguin2
Let me help u wit a little understanding of the article. The sw needed a political party to be able to contest. Then they helped them register AD which was not fit to be called a political party, that AD grew into AC, then ACN and now become APC with the help of a merger with CPC hence you call it Fulani/Gbegiri and ewedu party.
Maybe if y'all play the right politics with APGA it would be a platform for your people. Politics is for people with foresight and long term goals.
The AD was meant to be deregistered after the LG elections under Abdulsalami.Only the PDP and APP made it through.

BTW a faction of APGA led by Okorocha was amongst the parties that merged to form the APC

now.

Re: Abdulsalami Abubakar Trust TV Interview: I Advised Obasanjo Not To Join Politics by PHIPEX(m):
This reminds me of the story of the unworthy servant who was forgiven, when he became powerful he could not forgive others in the Bible. The South West benefitted from the benevolence of other Nigerians in 1999, now they feel powerful and wants it all or nothing, time will tell.

But for that benevolence that allowed AD to be registered when it was not fit, there wouldn't have been APC today. That same benevolence saw Obasanjo being fielded by PDP few months out of prison, not because he merited it but for peace to reign, these all mean nothing now, it now appears as if it had been merit all along. The same AD and APP presented Olu Falae for president, So Nigeria major parties presented 2 Yoruba men in 1999 who technically were not qualified based on benevolence. They now want to Judge Igbos strictly on merit grin

Go and do the findings yourself. No wedding ever took place among the big wigs in lagos without Pa jakande of blessed memories in attendance. We have all the records in the family. I reserve my comment for now. It's not for public consumption. When the time is right all of you will see the truth.

Really? And how old are you, again? Let me educate you. MKO Abiola of the Southwest won an election adjudged to be the freest ever in Nigeria. That election was unfairly and unjustifiably annuled by the military at the time. 1999 was about compensating the southwest for that injustice. Kapiche?

The last time I checked, majority of Igbo youths said, they aren't interested in Nigeria president. Alternatively, if they have rescinded their decisions, must they use the platform they did not believe in- Fulani's party as they often called APC?

After all, they built PDP, they should go and get ticket in PDP and if the party refuses them, that means, nobody takes serious in this country. In fact, PDP must give them the ticket if they have electoral values
