This drug thing is a very sad trend among Igbos yet none of their elites are speaking out against it.

Drugs make people go mad and it destroys lives, ruin relationships and increases social vices in the community..

Say no to drugs!!

Say no to drug trafficking!!

This love of money and do anything for money memtality among SE youths must stop.

If he'd been successful, his kinsmen would abuse you if you question his wealth. They don't care where their rich men made their money as long as he's ibo, they are fine and ready to defend him anywhere. They will tell you that you're jealous of ibo success, this is exactly what they are referring to as success.

Criminals!!!

Oh No, Not again! sad sad sad
Always in the news for the very wrong reasons.
May God save Nigerians from these idiots that keep bringing the country to to disrepute.
They have all the opportunities to work legitimately, but fraud and crime is engraved on their forehead.....almost naturally!

Same kind of people we read, that produce fake teething powder for new born babies under 6 months old, sending many innocent newborns to their untimely death!

They turn worn out and old tires to brand new ones in their shops under 3 hours and sell it back to unsuspecting public as tokunbo tires!!! shocked
Causing many deaths on our roads by so doing!!

Same people that were rejoicing on the death of one of the greatest women to ever come out of Nigeria (Mrs Dora Akunyili!) cos she was a pain in their dirty as$!!

Anything and everything is money to them, even when innocent lives are in danger.
Bastards.

Why not shut up if you have nothing reasonable to say, are they as poor as the poorest people?
Better no let people come for your head Oga romantic!
Oshisko!!

Please take note Sir Polo!

May the animals bringing the name of our darling nation to disrepute, rot in jail forever, or better still, they should send his head in body bag to his family members down here.
Animals in human skin making life hard for innocent, hardworking and legitimate Nigerians.

Idiot. I can’t stand these fools that can’t work hard and be patient.
What work hard do you as a Nigerian want to do in India? Is it IT, Healthcare, engineering? Etc, they have got it all.
Unskilled job nko? The have excess population and poverty you have more than enough people to do the dirty low pay jobs!
So how will you as a Nigerian make a living other than crime?
I have suggested before that a way must be found to ristrict certain Nigerians from getting a passport. Eg people that don't have meaningful skills or education, people that have no good reason to travel.

My brother, Nigeria is hard. I will tell you a bit about my story. When I finished my first degree, I developed a school management system and I was going from one state to another looking for schools to subscribe. Today, we cover most states in the East and some states in the south south. We manage a big church’s portal together with all the schools under them.
I am not trying to motivate you but hard work still pays, you just have to keep working and be patient while trusting God. Things still work in Nigeria, I have seen young men choosing the right path and achieving great results. Thank you.

This Op (Philipponzaghi) is a confirmed tribalist and it's quite appalling ng that Nairaland pushes these divisive news to front page just to get more eyeballs and engagement. If you scan through this OP's topics, he only reports crimes committed by Igbos and 99% of those threads make it to front page. While on the other hand, he reports achievements by yorubas ex:

"Victory Yinka Banjo gets 19 scholarships worth $5 from US and canada"

"David Odekunle Accepted into 7 Ivy League Colleges"

"Foluke Oyedeji-Laosebikan promoted to Queens Council in Canada"

But all the news pertaining Igbos are all crime related and they are immediately pushed to the front page. It's quite unfortunate that this platform all Nigerians see as a safe space to air opinions and get unbiased news has been turned into one that promotes and invokes tribalism.

Don't be shameless.

Why blame the OP for your kinsmen committing 99% of the crimes Nigerians do abroad?

You are not even ashamed to still deny the fact that Yorubas undoubtedly lead in intellectual achievements inside and outside Nigeria.

There's a reason why your people all run from their homelands. There's a reason why the best amongst them must have lived in South West.

Stop complaining about the OPs honesty and worry more about how Igbo language is fast becoming the lingua franca in most jails in Asia.

Leave story, are your people the odogwu of drug peddling or not?
Do they want to get rich by all means or not?
Can they kill their own blood for money or not?

Tribalism, mediocre contents and childish news and women-hating is now norm.
