The signs served two purposes:
(1) To alert honest hearted and sincere Jews that the promise of Christ has been fulfilled so the door to join in becoming prospective co-rulers with the Christ is opened! Act 2:39

(2) To help in the completion of sacred writings (scriptures)

So after these two purposes has been met then all those SIGNS WILL CEASE! 1Corinthians 13:9-10

Mind you there's nobody who wouldn't like the miracles to continue after all we need it but the truth is that these things happened in the first century for a purpose and after the purpose has been met it's no longer available!

The essence of what Paul is saying there is Charity supersede all

Not saying Miracles, prophesies past

Saying Miracles are in the past is saying God doesn't longer exists

As for me till date I still get the sick healed, prophesy and speak in tongues with the power of God

I was born in a catholic family that is active in almost all the societies of the church. Infact my mum is the president of Catholic charistimatic renewal, legion of mary, secetary of the CWO In our zone and a former vice president of the parish CWO. A Prayer warrior, revivalist, preacher and lover of God. A well known evangelist. a practical christain that does what Jesus taught. She made sure she inculcated that belief in all her children. I grew up knowing how to love God sincerely, i felt i have a call to bring heaven on earth. I wanted to become a priest and hated girls before. Everywhere i go people calls me pastor and holy boy, some of my friends critisized me and called me a pretender. Deeply inside me i knew that i loved God and wanted to do his will, even though i was not perfect. at a very tender age i was known for mimicking rev. Frs. I left my village when i was 14 to the city, to stay with my bro. who is also a vibrant man of God...

Someone who typed all these with his own finger later typed the below when faced with the fact that there are no miracles performing group anymore!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, you need to learn Sir!

Jesus the Son of Mary, adopted by Joseph was trained according the craft of his foster father (Joseph)
But when the time comes for him to become the Christ he went to John the baptist and afterwards everything about carpentry came to an end in his life.
He became a preacher, teacher and a miracle worker. That's what makes him the Christ Sir.
So Jesus is the Carpenter, the Christ (changed personality) never had anything to do with carpentry afterwards!
