The debate and opposition to direct, indirect or consensus mode of primaries are not for altruistic reasons. It's to give a leverage to any of the power blocs in the political parties.

Segun Oni is loved by the masses of Ekiti but he killed his chances when he went to the APC and returned recently. He has lost PDP primaries and can't win on any other platform, except the two big parties.

Not good for internal democracy but from the video only 1 or 2 person did that so it might not qualify as rigging

It is a disgrace please. We must not deceive ourselves irrespective of political affiliation. If this happens in primaries, why should people complain when the wrong candidates are voted in during elections. That’s the reason why we have the wrong people in power today, when the political spaces are hijacked by political godfathers.

We must not continue like this in this nation. This is not democracy please.
