May the Universe conspire to make all your e dreams come true. You have spoken like a sensible person that you are. I keep warning my country men and women not to go anywhere outside this country without an executable plan. There is no place like Nigeria. Cost of living here is almost nothing compared to other countries. In Nigeria just about anyone can make it if you are determined. It's not Easy I know, you won't know what hard life feels like till you get abroad and experience it first hand

Usually when people tell me that they have money to start up a business and that I should suggest something for them. I advise them to eat the money and when the money is finished they look for another one, these days there too many uncertainties especially in business.
However I’m not gonna advice you to do that, you see 2.5m is less than $5000, so you need to be very practical about your options.
I’ll advice you to leave the country with the right sum, the right connections, and a near perfect plan in mind when you get there. Make sure your plans are carefully thought through.
For the money you have in hand I’ll suggest you do a few buying and selling as a short term plan or option to make ends meet and to help you with the process of leaving the country, because you like it or not it will cost you a good fortune to leave this country.

Let me tell you a bitter truth, u can be anything anywhere including Nigeria. First fix 2.250m. learn a skill plus trade for a year give yourself 1 year. Before you finish learning that skill you must have been earning some little money start with that little money. After another year go and take your fix deposit. Invest big. Thank me later. Am a graduate i quit going for interview because i cant speak fluent english they wont believe in me. I stop applying and go learn electrical (rewire)plus locksmithing service after a year am now my own boss. In a year or two i should be able to afford a flight ticket.

wisdom shall never depart from you,I started my phone business with 250k last year ,I know the amount have made since then.

Conver it to Dollar is equivalent to 4k Dollar, that amount is peanut when you take it to offshore of this country,at the same time is easier to make it abroad than Nigeria.

People have lost sense of reasoning in Nigeria as a result of fame associated with travelling abroad.
What sense in travelling abroad without any reason other than you got some money ?
You can only travel abroad on holiday or to attain higher educational status or to get a good job.
This is how many Nigerians became illegal immigrant in foreign lands due to obsession to be in foreign country.
The shame of coming back to face reality in the home country after wasted years is always difficult to comprehend.
Use your common sense to get a good business to invest your money and stop seeking for unnecessary advice !

There are businesses you can do for sure, but you will likely fall into the hand of a bad person in this Nigeria. If you engage in retailing and you do not have a trust worthy person to navigate the way for you, that's a bad idea. Lol.

I think you can build yourself and learn a skill online. This is my advice of you want to stay here. Get a computer and start learning. You can build up yourself.

As for travelling, 2.5m is $4,500. Hmm. You will spend half on processing your docu...if you get it once...you are ok...but really, you can spend all in just processing your visa.
