Congratulations
To the bolded You are first a Student and with that comes an internship, IRCC will give you Study Visa, once you land at the port of entry, you will be given Study Permit with COOP Work Permit which covers your internship period, you have nothing to worry about as regards it, Work Permit will not allow you study but study permit will allow you to attend internship.

Gurus here can add their input

Imalaeta:
PPR landed.
My son, husband and I.

I have an issue, I ought to have applied for work permit but I applied for a study permit. My host just informed me that IRCC considers visiting research student on research internship as work and i may not be permitted to enter Canada without a work permit but I applied as a student. What can I do since I have already sent our passports to Lagos since the 26th January. What can I do, please help me.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by username12: 1:11am On Jan 29, 2022
So guys, here is my story.

I have lost a great deal of money paid to agents in the past to secure visa for me, most recently was last year June when I naively paid 285k to an agent to secure admission for me in a Canadian college. It was after this disaster that I stumbled on this thread. I regretted my life and beat myself up for a long time.

Afterwards, I began to read this thread from the beginning of part 18 till I caught up with part 19. I gained a huge amount information from people's timeliness shared, but most importantly, I met a wonderful individual on this thread who'd turn out to be a partner in progress in this journey.

We both got offers for a 1yr PGD program at Cambrian College, but realized afterwards that it was more convenient to go for a 2yrs program because of the PGWP thing. We had to abandon that offer and apply to other schools, but eventually settled for Lambton college, Toronto, May 2022 intake.

Due to sudden unforseen financial challenges, Paying for my compulsory first term tuition fee before the deadline given became a huge challenge that kept me up at night. I prayed like never before and God came through and brought help my way.

Submitting my visa application became another challenge because I didn't know exactly how to package my application as a self sponsored applicant. My profile was kinda complex and my story was very complicated. My friend Tobe1997 convinced me to give it to the renowned Frankrobbn to tie together, as it was his specialty. We hooked up and the man showed his acute knowledge of the process of study visa application. Because of his extremely busy schedule, it was stressful chasing him upandan to get his attention to my application, but as soon as I got it, my story suddenly became simple and straightforward.

I submitted my application on 21st November via the new portal, did my upfront medical and biometrics the next day. Upfront medical was updated to passed on 25th November while the biometrics delayed to be updated on the portal till 7th December 2021 after I raised webform and mailed IRCC about it.

During the waiting period, I prayed, fasted, did midnight prayers, booked mass, did everything I could to show God that I was totally depending on him to complete this project as I had done what I could do as a human. I lost faith sometimes, but his mercies always prevailed.

On the 18th of January 2022, my friend received her ppr while I received mine 10 days after hers. My detailed documents submitted are below:

Applicants personal documents
1. College Unconditional Official Letter of Admission,
2. Tuition deposit receipt (from the College)
3. Copy of my Birth Certificate,
5. Copy of West African Examinations Council Senior School Certificate (WAEC),
6. Copy of my International Passport Bio data page,
7. Copy of my family picture (dad, Siblings and I)
8. Statement of Purpose.
9. NYSC discharge certificate
10. Degree certificate
11. Transcripts
12. Reference Letter from my hometown union
13. Landed property documents in Nigeria (Deed of assignments and Survey plans)
14. Proof of rental payment from tenants (rental receipts)
15. Lease agreement for landed property

Applicant's employment/financial documents
1. Letter of Introduction from my employer.
2. Study leave approval letter.
3. Six (6) months Statement of Account (Personal/salary Account) - N21M normal bank statement
4. Promotion letter
5. Work ID card
6. Resume
7. Business Registration Certificate of my business
8. Particulars of the sole proprietorship of the business
9. Previous employment documents
10. Reference Letter from my business clients

My dad was one of my strong hometies, but I unfortunately lost him this January while waiting for PPR. It seemed like it was shaping up to be a bad year, but God showed up and rescued me.

This whole visa process has taught me so much about prayers and dependability on God, there's nothing he cannot do. Fasting and prayers works folks! Trust in God and there's nothing he cannot do for you. My study permit approval is the most improbable of all because I wasn't the most qualified, I wasn't even qualified. God just qualified me and made me eligible.

I requested for gcms on the 5th of January, mailed like 4 MPs in Toronto, only one accepted to help enquire from IRCC on my behalf. She gave me feedback from IRCC this Tuesday that my eligibility review was ongoing, but as at then it hadn't been updated on my portal. Meanwhile, I started mailing Abuja, Lagos, Nairobi and London like 10 times daily from the beginning of January after my application got to 6 weeks. I'd schedule my mails on my email app for every hour from 6am till 2pm Nigeria time, and they'll just deliver automatically at the top of every hour. The responses were always the generic ones, but I didn't care. I'd send webform via the new webform link in between from time to time. It seemed like the mails weren't yielding any thing, but I was encouraged to continue. This Thursday, I saw that my eligibility review had been updated on my portal, I went back and doubled down on my prayers that night, and then scheduled another 10 mails each to just Abuja and Nairobi every hour against Friday. By the time the 8th mail had delivered by 1pm, I received 2 mails from IRCC and also from their Abuja office that there's a message sent to my portal. At that point, I was in the middle of a serious meeting at the office and my hands were shaking to open my portal, I ran to the toilet and lo and behold the beautiful messages of correspondence and ppr were seated pretty on the portal. I didn't know what I felt. I pinched myself to wake up, quickly urinated to know if I will wake up, but it was all reality. I couldn't contain my joy. After all the sleepless nights, worries and all, God has crowned it all with success.

I am eternally grateful to you all on this platform for the encouragement and information shared freely. God bless you. For those still waiting for their good news, keep trusting, there's nothing impossible for God to do.

Like always, it has ended in praise for me.

Greetings @makano,
I desire to contact you directly but I have to put up my questions here first so others can benefit.

1. I have had previous applications (2) on my Gckey account delayed in the past, Can I create a new account against my reapplication with the new portal, as I don’t have access to my initial email. I Intend using a new email address to create a new profile, although I’ll still indicate my previous delays and my UCI number , I need your advise on this .

2. I want to inquire if the NSE ROUTE is still functional and the process required to submit via the NSE Route, I haven’t been able to access reasonable information on the IRCC website .
Thank you for your response in advance .

3. My sponsor is my father and intends to pay my first year tuition, is it compulsory that he sends the cost for living expenses to my personal account or I can just submit his bank statements as proof ? I will also include my personal (salary) bank statement although I don’t have much in there at the moment. I’m 25y/o
I will be grateful for your response. Thank you

If it's for admissions purposes, why stress ursef to evaluate the transcript? Just apply to schools using the original transcript.

Please anyone who attended Houdegbe North American University. Someone close to me tried to evaluate her result through . After the school sent Transcript and it came back saying they can't verify the school. Has anyone ever came about this kind of issue. Please help

Congratulations.... It ended in praise.

From my knowledge I think you are required to fill the form and upload supporting documents online. Then go to the bank of your choosing to complete the transaction
Scott99tish:
Please what’s the process of this Electronic form A.
Someone need it and I couldn’t direct the person rightly.

I’ve searched and searched but failed effort.
I gave the person the link to Trade Monitoring Systems but OTP is not dropping on her mail. So I don’t know If I’m right or wrong.

Any help ?

Hi,
To my knowledge, yes you can create a new Gc KEY. it does not affect you in anyway.

2. You can still proceed via the NSE route. I'd advice that you do if you can. However, please be aware that they do not conclude applications within the time frame they have claimed (20 days). I went through the NSE route and my application took 5 months still.

3. He does not need to transfer the money to you. You can simply show his bank statement as proof. That is what I did for mine. My mom was sponsor. she only transferred N500,000 to me just to show commitment. But it was not even required for her.
Overcomer1234:

Thank you

You can do either. I dont think it affects you.
However, I think you might be saving more if you pay in Naira bc you get to pay your school fees at official CBN rate.

Otp will only drop on the email in his or her bvn...can he confirm to be sure that the email his checking is what he used when he did his bvn. If the bvn profile does not have email he will need to go to the bank he did his bvn and update his email.

I am really sorry about this. But please it is time to fight this with all you have. This is the point where you actually contact a lawyer. A lawyer LICENSED to practice in CANADA. Check Ogayemi Law firm on instagram, he helped with my study permit.
Nowa001:
Hello everyone

I’ve been a silent reader on this forum for months now. I submitted my study permit application since May last year and I’ve been waiting on IRCC for a reply since and i just got a message from them today.

So it turned out i got procedural fairness letter this morning and i was told I submitted a fraudulent statement of account. I used my mum’s account statement which had over thirty nine million as in flow and forty one million as out follow but had a balance of three million because she had just recently purchased goods at the time. During when i wanted to submit the application, NYSC had just posted me and i needed to go to camp so my friend connected me with an agent who i sent all my documents to and paid him to help me submit the application because I didn’t want to wait till after camp before submitting so that my processing time would start counting. While in camp i was having network issues so I really couldn’t use my phone, when i was finally out of camp i saw messages from the agent telling me he had submitted but he had to improvise because my balance was low. I called him immediately and he said he edited the bank statement and increased the balance, i was really furious because i had seen on this platform people’s visa being approved with less balance, but the deed had already been done all i could do was cut ties with the agent after that.

Now i have 15 days to reply IRCC with a new statement of account and also I’m to attach a letter of explanation explaining the falsified document, please gurus in the house I’ll need help in writing the LOE and also I will appreciate any advice from the house on how to go about this

Please use Form A is always cheaper even though you have DOM account.

You can use your DOM account if your deadline is close and the bank delays in making the payment
