And some re still blind not to c d importance of etebo in our midfield grin
What I've noticed is that we are always clamoring for players that are not present. Etebo was in the team when we lost to Argentina, South Africa, Algeria, Madagascar. He does not bring any quality greater than that of the other players in the team. In fact I recall that the major complain was that Etebo and Ndidi don't click.

So it's always that clamor for the unavailable player. When he comes now, it will be zeh.

The ONLY player whose coming back will add to the team is Victor Moses because he's head and shoulders above our current wingers

Absolute crap! Is the former Ghanaian under 23 coach the one to appoint the next coach for Ghana? grin

A few names are being mentioned as we speak. Rohr is not one of the names being mentioned. How hard is that difficult to understand? cool

The man likely to get the Ghana job is Chris Hughton- his father is Ghanaian.

grin grin grin I know get strength to drag abeg well I guess the Media houses that mentioned rorh as a contender for the job are crap and also the gahanian coach is also a crap because I can't remember me saying he got the job already and who gives a damn about who the next Ghanaian coach is me and the person arguing knows what am talking about wink if you are a Ghanaian brace yourself up for March the eagles are coming to chop you like banku or kenke have a nice weekend wink

fruitful five years, from 16th position to 4th position with mediocre players while ghen ghen pressing of two weeks tiri days gave us HBP grin grin cheesy
You cannot see more than the millions of fans and the administrators who saw that Rohr had reached the end of his tether. If anything you are beating a dead horse cos no amount of wailing and remonstration will bring Rohr back.

Rohr is our longest serving coach. His cabinet holds only the dim and dull light of bronze medal. And on top of it, sour depressing football.

Sorry to disappoint you bro but Etebo has been tested but not trusted he hugs on to the ball to much and his passes are not accurate enough to progress the ball in our midfield, he also doesn't have the defensive acumen to help Ndidi out in midfield and is not intelligent enough to connect midfield to attack, what you guys like is the idea of Etebo not the player himself
I was wondering if it is not the same Etebo we all watched.
I find it interesting that those who clamor for Ighalo are the same people who are clamoring for Etebo.

What I know is that these two are no better than the players who are in the team now. Clamor for them by all means but to stretch it and make it sound like their coming to the team is what is needed to make our team a better team is simply delusional thinking.

I still remember complaining about not crossing the ball sometime back. I just do not understand why we keep doing this.
Same reason Onauchu will look like a useless player in SE, but back to his club he will be scoring goals for fun.
Mind you crosses do not necessarily have to be high, main aim is to get it to the striker any which way.
timay1:
A good cross can always break the tightest of defense.
Just look at how Cameroon scored from a good cross.

So far in this tournament, Cameroon has scored a lot of goals just because they have good crossers of the ball.

Our own wingers and full backs are terrible at crossing the ball despite the fact that we have abundance of CF who are good in the air.

What a waste for us

our wingers were playing in positions that didn't favor them for crossing due their favorite foot..

Simon is right footed and playing on the left side so if he wants to cross he has to move the ball to his right foot then cross with his right foot.

Chukwueze is left footed and playing on the right side so if he wants to cross he has to move the ball to his left foot then cross with his left foot..

that's why they seem terrible at crossing... apart from that, its also possible that Eguavoen didn't instruct them to cross since they are players that like to hold on to ball they have to be instructed to cross the ball.

apart from that again, Super Eagles didn't usually have players in the box to cross to..

the Cameroonian player that crossed is right footed and playing on the right side so he doesn't need to move the ball to his favorite foot since he is already on his favorite foot.

Ihenacho's goal against Egypt was from a Simon cross that Egypt didn't clear properly..

Lookman is very good at crossing and good vision...

And it isn't just crossing. A guy like lookman is much better at finding players with on ground passing. Go look at his key pass statistics and compare to our culdesac wingers like Simon and Chukwueze...

Lookman is better than all of our wingers

The Burkinabes really studied our game with the Tunisians and learnt from it.

See the difference in how they are attacking the Tunisian box in numbers. Smh.. There is no reason for us to lose to Tunisia...

Obviously Eguavoen tactics are predictable and most annoying is he does not seem to have a plan B.

The only difference I can see is that they are playing faster than we did. They are using the same tactics we did but not respecting the opponent.
However their crosses have been letting them down though

Aribo is under utilized in eagles. Today I confirmed Balogun's comment. Decent! If they like make them wait till Amoo reach 27yrs before integrating him. Nigeria isn't just lucky with coaches.

The current wingers in our team are mediocre.

If we like, let us hire Guardiola or Klopp as coaches, nothing go change.

A player cannot do more than his anility

I wonder what these VARs are doing in this AFCON.
That was clearly an handball situation right before the Burkinabee's goal.
The ref was supposed to review the goal.

Agreed without reservation.

Simon - Cannot cross or pass from the wing to save his life

Ejuke - Does not lookup.

Chukwueze - Has lost form.

The coach should draft in Victor Moses, Lookman and Amoo before the world cup (if we qualify).

Nigeria messed up big time against Tunisia... Imagine Burkina Faso had 4 shots on target in the 1st half, and Nigeria had none.
